i see more adc's with comet than i do mages

how about we lower the ad ratio on it? (and possibly buff the ap but im not sure about that)

Who? The only ADCs going to use comet are Ashe/MF/Jhin; champs with slows/cc/poke. Hell, Ashe is really better off with Fleet Footwork anyways. Right now no one is using it because poke is pointless with relic shield starts. So just get a shield and consider the lane a freebie if someone takes comet.

Thats odd considering pretty much every mage runs Comet or Aery. The only ADCs I see run comet frequently are MissFortune Ashe Varus

Textbook boards exaggeration. Only seen jhin MF and Ashe use comet, but apperantly it's more than the entire mage roster.

The only way you play Comet Varus is lethality Varus.

And lethality Varus is trash and was since it got gutted last season.

If comet is ever going to get a change, it will probably get a lower base damage and maybe an increase to ap/ad to compensate. Although tbh idk how good it is at mid/bot since I only play top/jungle right now. Seeing malphites and sions with comet is a pain to deal with, especially if you aren't a tank (good thing I play tanks, or poppy I guess). It's not just comet, it's probably the entire tree that's still slightly too strong for top lane but comet is definitely still strong.
