i dont mind the new missions.. but can we just remove the whole "equip this icon" BS

Most missions are ok (I'm going to ignore the whole make a 5 man melee one because.. honestly.. wtf riot...)

but icons are one of the FEW means of self expression we have in the game. some of us even PAY for icons.. its stupid to have like constant event that we can't even participate in unless you equip "X" icon...

and where are our champion icons? i still cant believe there isn't at least ONE icon for each champion we can use.

i mean maybe give us the icon if we reach lvl 7 mastery with them

It's not like you're capable of swapping back afterwards. Oh deary me, Riot, won't you think about MY SELF EXPRESSION in a facet no one cares about?!

You can clearly see MY SELF EXPRESSION is very important, even though I won't actually go through the effort of unequipping the event icon after completing the missions.

Why should he care about anyone but HIMSELF. It is HIS expression so he has a right to voice HIS opinion on it. He shouldn't have to give a hot damn what you or what Riot wants because it's HIS SELF EXPRESSION and if HE cares about it and no one else then screw them because they aren't HIM.

Even if it is 3-5 games its somthing HE cares about so instead of being a public jerk you can voice why YOU'RE being against what HE wants.

All he said was that if you disagree with the op, give a reason why. Even if you consider it only a minor inconvenience, why should you be inconvenienced at all?

I do think it's worth it to change icon, but that doesn't mean I like it. It is also logically more work for Riot to have set it up to require using the icons. Therefore I see it as a justifiable complaint, that they would have put in work to make an aspect of the game less convenient.

Assuming it was easy to set it up this way (and it probably was), it should be just as easy if not easier to make it stop requiring the icons.

The only time it really made sense was when there was a branching light-vs-shadow-or-whatever choice linked to the icon. And even that could have been rigged up with a different mechanism. Overall, I dislike it.

It is my opinion but I believe you can bare playing some games with an other icon when you played so much more with the icons you want. It is in no way a hardship mentally for you to let an icon go for some days or games.

I do think that it is kinda weird they ask for you to have this icon for the missions, maybe for the code as having the icon trigger them? But then why? It is indeed kinda weird.

So basically, weird decision but that, in my opinion, you can easily afford and accept if you have some self control.

Not even just that, but you look like a bunch of conformists in random lobbies with people all wearing the same or similar masks to achieve missions that I'm pretty sure, can be coded without the icon necessity at its core.

Mastery 5 would be a huge improvement if you unlocked an icon for that champ. Would give people a lot of options for personalization being as how there really aren't all that many to choose from, even if you do pay like me.

I think mastery 7 would be better. Let it be a small bonus for putting effort in the champion.

Mastery 5 would mean you would get the icons automatically just for playing the champion.

True, but a lot of people don't play champs to M5, yet alone to M6 or M7. Hiding an icon behind a marker that requires 2 (S-) or better, AND 3 (S) or better ranks, can take a very long time.

I can't tell you how many times I've been shafted with an S- for seemingly trivial differences in match performance.

M5 already takes time to obtain, M7 needlessly stretches the grind, IMO.

Hm, maybe I am biased. I have 28 champs on m7 and think the requirement is kinda low.

Maybe make it m5 + 1s-? Basically you would get the icon as a little bonus for your first mastery token on that champ.

27 golly! While I agree the requirement are "technically" low, as said before, a lot of people get set back with an S- when they really want those 3 remaining S and S+. Often times it's over such incredibly small differences in performance that wasting that 30 minutes in match grasping for it can be infuriating.

Ugh, they're doing it again. This Project whatever stuff takes like a dozen games or more, and I don't even like the skin line. But you have to wear the big ugly metal triangle if you want random shards this week.

well at least for me i dont need to worry about this once.. becuase i cant play adc to save my life so i could never get the rewards anyways XD

Me too, but I did it anyway. Two skin shards if you do 100%. Took forever, though.
