as much as i dont like opinions like this... sadly... its true... crazy high winrates aside.. its just frankly a bad design to have a champ who is SUPPOSED to aggravate your opponents.

yasuo, zac, poppy, shen, blitzcrank, malzahar's new version, ZED, ekko...the list goes on

there are plenty of champions that are made to annoy opponents, but healthy playstyles tend to be written out as "boring" or unfun to play against

take my former favorite, mordekaiser. He made the lane hell for his opponent simply because it was a bad idea to engage him or get anywhere near him but once under your tower, his threat level dropped and he was very vulnerable to ganking unless he ran an unconventional summoner spell like Ghost

it wasn't too fun to play against, but that's mostly because it was his job, he made one lane equal out or less and remained relevant. He couldn't do anything flashy and was purely a bruiser mage...now...

we have his current form of attrocity that very few players want to play or coordinate with

Except arguably Blitzcrank, that is not the intended vision for those champions, merely side-effects of things that you personally hate. Malzahar was always aggravating as you couldn't 1v1 him at all back then, can't now because EWR boom you dead fucko.
Shaco is different. His entire existence is reliant on pissing someone off. That's all he is made for. This is inherently toxic, because it makes people toxic. NO ONE that I've seen and interacted with was okay with being killed, tricked, or juked by Shaco because the methods feel extremely underhanded. However if someone keeps their cool, he is a lot less useful because they won't fall for his bait and tricks, making him reliant on the enemy.

What gets me is that, with his play pattern, everyone loses. He aggravates both enemies and even allies: "I need the kills to be better late game; oh it's late game, all I usually do is split push; whoops, we're in trouble, whelp gl cya!"

You used to be able to stack sunfire and kill people as Eve/twitch as you'd do 45*#ofSunfires magic damage a second in AoE and it wouldn't unstealth you. That's 2,700 premitigation magic damage per sunfire if you got the full 60 seconds in.

Exactly. It's kinda unfair they nerf every champ thats not even as close to being as toxic as shaco to unplayable levels as soon as they are viable.

I don't want them to gut shaco, but they need to do something to leave him around a 48-49% winrate.

I agree. He's probably the most unfun champion to play against in the entire game. I can't think of a champion that has less counterplay in the jungle other than maybe rengar, but rengar doesn't have his stealth on a low cooldown

I wouldn't necessarily say he lacks counterplay, his entire kit is dependent on the enemy. His Kit however is fundamentally toxic and not healthy for the game by any means.

How to ruin Shaco's early game : Anticipate his starting buff location (usually blue, sometimes red), start with item 3341 , activate it about 6 or so seconds before his buff spawns to pop all of his boxes ruining his 1st clear. (this can be done as a top laner or a jungler) If you communicate you're doing this then your team will coordinate with you to help, if I'm a top laner vs a Shaco I do this to help my jungler.

How is this possible if you are the jungler yourself? Then he will still get his first buff before you do and he can just smite or a get a leash from bot lane.

But you are level 1 and by the time you want to take your first buff you wont have wards and no leash and he will come and kill you. lol

Of all champions it always made me laugh when people said Shaco was the one most toxic. Then Riot reworks him and makes his kit even worse! Sure it has its uses but before Shaco was much more straightforward.

Even now though I find it unfair to say that Shaco has the most toxic kit in League, It's all perspective of what you find to be most toxic aspect in League.

You don't like diving bruisers, me personally I hate assassins that don't give me lots of time to react, like Eve or LeBlanc. I know Eve isn't in the best of places, but without pink wards I have to keep mental track of the jungler even more than normal because she doesn't show up unless someone catches her in the jungle or she ganks, makes her rotations a bit difficult to map out.

They have to walk up to you. If you allow them to walk up to you you've already fucked up. You should never allow them to be in a position to just walk up to you.

So, to break things down a bit as an actual Shaco main-ish. Shaco's kill times early game got pretty trashed, but his win-rate is high because he actually exists late game now. His 1 point wonder stealth is gone because at level 1 the stealth is hilariously worthless, so it might as well just be a blink if you don't max it, but maxing it cuts your early game damage even more. AD Shaco in particular takes ages to kill people compared to before in the early stages of the game, forcing him to resort entirely to trickery which is the part people tend to find annoying.

AP Shaco got buffed pretty much across the board with an extra 50% AP ratio just kinda showing up out of nowhere, but AD Shaco lost damage across the board due to his crit being nerfed pretty heavily and backstab having an actual cooldown, both for himself and the clone. Where the complaining comes from is from people who explicitly only care about AD Shaco who lost most of their potential to be useful early on, and are still stuck with the mentality of early game you slaughter, late game you split.

Shaco in general does not need buffs, AD Shaco needs some buffs in the form of his crit actually meaning anything early game (Because 1/5 extra of a single attack in a gank is pitiful) and it wouldn't actually make AP Shaco that much stronger, because until he is blatantly all-inning you he's not going to crit you whatsoever, because he's just never going to auto you. Alternatively buff the crit and make the now AP Scaling Q just not crit on backstab, because that's kind of stupid anyway.

Tl;Dr AD Shaco players are sad because AD Shaco got a lot weaker, and want it to be good again, people asking for general Shaco buffs are full of shit, because I have been playing Hybrid and AP Shaco and he's stronger than he used to be, i.e. not the worst assassin in the game in terms of raw numbers. Shaco is fine now, anybody claiming otherwise is refusing to adapt to changes in a game that constantly changes.

Second, he rarely ever plays shaco and I don't believe he has ranked games with shaco. He's also bronze. You shouldn't be surprised he thought shaco felt weak after the changes, because he's trying to play him how he used to.

I agree though that shaco does not need any buffs, and it's laughable that anyone thinks he does. Still though, no actual Shaco main is saying he needs buffs, just people who haven't put in the correct time to adapt to his playstyle.

i do applaud your reasoning... that one person doesn't represent a whole group of people... i probably shouldn't have made that connection. but BEFORE i made this thread... his thread had nearly 10 upvotes. which means he isn't the only person around who is clueless about how OP shaco is right now.

i also seem to see these "buff shaco" threads pop up every so often. it could be the same person idk i don't pay attention to their names. but they all started happening post-rework.

and like i said earlier i don't really feel bad for people who refuse to adapt.

i mean sure... if the champ is ACTUALLY trash and NEEDSa buff becuase it has a crazy low winrate... thats not "adapting" to a nerf.. thats just straight out being overnerfed. (most obvious to me being RekSai and Nidalee )

although even then like i said in an earlier post... i HAVE adapted to nidalee having a sub 45% winrate. its a LOT freaking harder win.. so much so that i find it easier to carry as support Morgana than Nidalee

and im sure i could be viable with Rek'sai too if i spent the time with her again... the different is the gutting of Nidalee made her bad.. but she still remained still crazy fun to play the gutting of RekSai didn't make sure quite so bad, but it DID make her boring a fuck to play. she frankly isn't fun to play anymore. and i am very excited for your rework back into a bruiser like the "terror of the sands" should be.

i have had to relearn Nidalee jungle NINE TIMES in season 6 because of all the changes done to her. I'm sorry... if u want to keep playing Shaco ... ADAPT.

and i dont even want to PLAY her jungle... i want to LANE with her... but i cant do that either...

you need to relearn your favorite champ... boo whoo. at least you only need to do it ONCE.
