This list is for those that should or need a VU (which means both splash and texture):

obviously in the works but none the less is a good point for this list
i know this one is in the works too but i put this up as a reminder

This next list is for those that need a texture update only and maybe added movements, jokes, taunts, and more:

It still infuriates me that Gangplank's Special Forces Skin just gives him a huge identity crisis.

I was hoping Cassiopeia would get tail armor like her Jade fang skin does and some armguards too. She is a beefier mage after all and can take some punches and a golden bra isnt the best battle attire, especially for a noblewoman. But Im really happy with her new looks anyway, the skin updates are really epic and they finally fixed her face that looked kinda too innocent for a shrewd poison mage from Noxus(them high cheekbones).

And that Ori splash is just so. gaddamn. goooood. I love it, the best update they have done so far IMO.

As for model updates and VO's, Morgana needs one so badly. She looks like an anorexic emo chick and has like no lines but "DO NOT DALLY". Would be a good opportunity to fix Blackthorn too and give Sinful succulence some special lines for Pantheon and Kayle (she is responsicle for closing her bakery) .

Evelynn is like a no brainer too, wonder how she didnt make it on the list(maybe she is but we dont see her lol). I just hope they dont change the VO, it's kinda legendary by now.

I wanted to put them on here but I thought on it, which was not a good thing I guess. Cassiopea just got her TU. Morgana looks fine to me. And Evelynn... I don't know. She kind-of matches the splash art.

I just commented my impression and the Cass update since I like her so much.

Evelynn is pixelated like crazy. Her model is so bad they can't put skins for her out. Mincraft objects have more detailed features. Notice how she doesn't have fingers, her heels seem malformed and she lacks smooth curves.

Morgana's base model is Sion tier IMO, pixelated, unmatching her splash and straight up ugly( the saddest thing is how much potential she has, she's one of the few female champions that have actually unique face features that are consistent through the skins- <3 shaped face, dark cupids bow lips, hair strain over one eye, tiara, edged eyebrows ). Look how badass ghost bride is, could pass as a rework with a recoloration and diferent wings.

I hope they do them justice like they did with Karthus .

i need to play them more then. i haven't noticed any of this but i'm sure i will.

I also like them updating content that needs it and wish they could do it more often. I also hope that they bring out more characters, reworks, and VUs to us at least per month. This Gnar then Azir still seems pretty epic to me.

I agree, we have so many champions it should go speedier. Even complete relauches are not ofter truly "complete" (karma still has her old skin splashes that dont resemble the new models anymore, and she has a built-in speed boost, but no run animation lol)

I just wonder how many more champs will be released. LIke, having 500 and more doesn't seem good in terms of balance and resource management. I'd personally like them to take a break from new champions (unless its Ao Shin ofc) and completely focus on reworks and updates. Currently all known nieches are filled for all roles, Braum and Jinx are fun but dont bring anything new to the table in terms of mechanics or purpose( Braums kit is essentially the same nieche as Thresh, and his kit borrows a lot from Karma, Lee Sin, Yasuo and Nami respectively).

And yes, Azir is as badass as it gets. So hyped about him, there are not enough summoning champs in league.

Wait, she's a beefy mage? not trying to make a pun or anything, i've always been under the opinion that cass is not meant to be any tankier than, say, a malzahar or even an akali.

Well, she is not tanky by stats and a glass canon Cass build is effective, but she builds a lot of hybrid ap/hp resistances due to low mobility and range so in the end she gets to absorb punches.

Rylais, Lyandries and Rod of Ages are very popular pick ups and resistance items like Abyssal scepter and Zhonya's too. Even wota was good to make her sustain in fights( Ocelote had a wota-spirit visage based build). And her reworked self has innate spell vamp too. Since she never had to invest a lot in ap(great base damages and ratios) and cdr. Tankier items are always a good choice on her if you dont overdo it.

In my opinion she's fine for now. That splash and her texture is nicely done.

That is my opinion, which none may agree with. They may as well give her an updated texture with added jokes and stuff just because it wouldn't be too difficult.

She has fallen off the game so much that the black rose mind as well be hiding again. her splash isnt the issue... well her classic anyways... but her newest skin is from 2011 plus her kit needs a look over

Her clothes look like they were random stuff that was 80% off in a Noxian second-hand shop. Srsly, her hat looks like a vegas sign that got into a car crash and her top is isolation tape.

You would think a matriarch of old aristocracy would dress classier.

IMO humanoids should be similar. Panth should not look stubby and short with pizza feet while Draven stands tall and slender. I also have problems with champs that look to thick and clunky (morde, hecarim, sej, alistar). Pizza feet champs definitely need an update: Taric, Panth, blitz etc.

then there's the worst offenders, like Kass and poppy. ugggggh poppy.

Alistar and warwick are in the same hunchback club. why can't they have more normal shaped models??

GP definitely needs some VO work. His textures/model has aged pretty well since his last rework but some of his older skins could definitely use some touch-up. (Minuteman and Sailor)

He needs more than one joke and taunt. Not to mention he's never had an animation to go with his joke. (Although strangely I think Toy Solider has one)

The top five champs that Riot admits are in most need of a full rework are:

Sion , Poppy , Yorick , Evelynn , Zilean ,

Unfortunately, ChampUp can't get their stuff together on these five. They come up with more excuses than the Stealth Rework that kept Evelynn, Shaco and Twitch on the "unplayable at any level" list.

Meanwhile, they mess up big time on the champs they DO get around to visual, texture or gameplay reworks.

It's depressing, frustrating and anger inducing all at the same time.
