Cause idk about you, but i'm tired of seeing Aatrox being ignored everytime (unless fed as hell) while nearly everyone can do 1k damage in 2 seconds.
How about you increase his base AD, or increase his W damage/AD ratio?

No one would mind more damage on him if they cut down his healing. As is, when Aatrox is strong he is impossible to push out of lane, even when weak he can make a lane noninteractive, which riot absolutely doesn't want.

I'm not one to talk about troll picks, I guess, having been an Amumu/Soraka top spammed in ranked in prior seasons.
Aatrox is weak. Not only is he niche, his niche is filled by other champions, who do it BETTER.
Xin has a similar "3 hit heal/damage thing". His numbers are higher, and he doesn't have to choose (not to mention that it has an active steroid).
Irelia's W, over 3 hits, both outdamages and outheals Aatrox's W. While it has a cooldown, she (again) doesn't have to choose between damage and healing.

when a champion is fed and has no counterplay it's not healthy for the game.
and aatrox is one of these champs.
he is too weak right now, but flat damage buffs are definitly not a solution. they should maybe work around his cd's a bit.
for example, his q is on a 12 sec cd even on lvl5.
they should maybe make it so that this gets reduced by 1 sec every time he attacks an enemy champion.
this way he'll get rewarded for being able to attack often,_ the thing he should do_, with a lower cd on his q that can be used to escape/land another knockup.
flat damage changes will make him either broken of unplayable, he'll need buffs like this that reward him for doing the things he should do without making him broken.

His problem is that after an enemy builds GW he becomes useless because his only purpose is to lifesteal, his damages are just trash and every top laner has at least x2 more damage than him

His attack range actually increases during his ultimate.
