Why is a 0 item Janna better late game than a 6 item Nasus

Nasus has 6 items and 1000 stacks, Janna presses Exhaust, ccs him, and he dies without doing any damage because of Janna's team's range

So wait, Janna has a team, but Nasus doesn't?

What happens when Blitz grabs Janna and she dies before having a chance to respond?

Because although Nasus has to work harder than any other hypercarry in the game to reach his late game monster status, he is probably the weakest of them due to being immobile and melee.

It's not really fair, is it?

I wouldn't even call Nasus a hypercarry. A carry for sure, but he's like Darius, theoretically he should be doing crazy damage but just cannot get more than a double kill against a team with half a brain. Best I have done with Nasus is going 17/0, and that was one of the hardest games of my life. Not like Master Yi where I have numerous times gone 23/1 without breaking a sweat.

What he has over the other hypercarries is that he decimates turrets.

Well... yeah that's the point. He's like Tryndamere. You don't pick either of those champions to win teamfights, you pick them to stay top lane indefinitely and right click on turrets until the nexus explodes, while being impossible to actually duel.
