There should be more incentives to play Normals > Ranked

Give players more IP per game in Normals.

Why? Because it gives incentives to players who aren't competitive and have the entire set of game knowledge to play Normals. And maybe after unlocking all their champs / runes (tools) they need to succeed then they'll play ranked better when they're ready for it.

EDIT: Okay, to clarify incentives. They work on a double edged sword, they reward players who play well with points and also attract players who aren't necessarily playing for the win, instead they're just playing to play. A casual ranked player is what I call it. You're in bronze - gold but don't care, you don't really play objectives you're just having fun, theres nothing wrong with it but it goes against the majority of players in the ranked environment. The reason they're in ranked games is because Normals gives them nothing more than a ranked game would, actually it gets less. (You can't get a skin / player icon and you can't get LP ranks)

If You give players who are casually ranked queueing an incentive to play normals then overall levels of toxicity would in effect go down. Theoretically. Would this help? maybe, maybe not. But Increasing the IP gains in normals doesn't affect anyone negatively. (we're talking 20% more IP nothing ridiculous)

Makes no sense whatsoever. Rewarding players for playing normals not only makes it so they don't have to put time into the game (as is the reason for only Golds and up getting ranked end of season rewards) where you choose to put your time should be entirely dependent upon the player. Rewarding casual players over competitive ones is not only flawed design, it's pandering to one league community over the other which is blatantly unfair.

The reason ranked players get rewards if they are gold and up is because they take the game more seriously than somebody playing ADC Leblanc in some low elo normal game. They have to actually WORK for their rewards, whereas queing up in some game where it's a casual mess is hardly considered "work."

I still don't understand why players should be incentivized to play normals. If they aren't feeling competitive then they have an obvious incentive: other players in normals will also behave less competitively.

IP gains are about the same as far as I know, Keys and Chests are about the same as far as I know (actually chests are much easier to attain in normals since you can use your less-played champions who still have a chest drop remaining without stressing about doing poorly for a few games on the champion)

I agree it would be nice lol I only play ranked cause it gives everything normals does and LP for rank but id rather play normals

Your edit still makes no sense. Players are playing ranked without really trying hard to win, but they still play ranked to get points? If you don't win in ranked you LOSE points.

Mastery ranks 1-5 should get more points in normals than in ranked.
