Limiting items to ranged / melee will only lessen Item Diversity and build paths.
We do **NOT **want that.
EDITED: Because people are misunderstanding the point here.
I do not want there to be unnecessary repercussions of champion diversity because lethality was strong for 2 patches. There are (ranged) champions that NEED those items. If you gut the weight of lethality for champions over 300~ range then you've effectively nerfed champions that needed them.
What should be done is just tone Lethality back down to .5 instead of .6, It was at .4 before and no one complained about any of the problems we see with lethality today.
