Who is the most "healthy" ADC?

Diamond Frostman··2 votes·952 views

Who do you think should be the benchmark that Riot balance the class around? Like they said about LeeSin in the past, about how the jungle role was balanced around him because he is considered healthy.

Personally, I believe that Twitch is a good example. He has an AOE skillshot that is critical to his damage, allowing for the enemy to outplay or avoid it and the nature of his kit relies on you killing the target, either he kills or he dies and that seems like a good design for an ADC. I think that Jinx is another good example of this as she has no natural mobility and requires positional awareness, unlike Vayne who can breakdance on the floor every few seconds.

It does seem to me like mobility is kinda ruining the class and future ADC's should have LESS mobility, not more.

Jhin is good and balanced in terms of mobility (Personally, I don't like his kit because I feel he's taking away a long range skillshot mage's job) Kalista is not

Urgot.

Just upvoting because Urgot is awesome despite his kit. He has been one of the worst ADC's for a long time but he's lovable because he is the butt of everyone's joke. However, I think the reason Riot will not buff him is because of his combo that allows him to auto-target is blade (can't remember which ability it is), that would be horrible if that did a lot more damage.

Though he is gonna get a buff to his ultimate that fears while he's doing it which is AWESOME. Because it means he won't die during it.

Hes a great top laner. Build a little life steal and then go tank. People run into you and you melt they and they never know why.

You're level 22. You know nothing about balance.

Twitch is NOT a suitable balance goal- his whole kit is designed around succeeding through a lack of counterplay. Jinx is played less and less every patch. Jhin is barely viable right now, he may even need a buff. Vayne is the most mechanically intensive, "positionally aware" ADC there is.

Kalista...I'm too biased to comment. I'm just trash at her, but watching her in the LCS I know she can't be buffed. It just hurts that everyone thinks she's OP when she really takes a lot of skill to play effectively.

Most balanced ADC is probably Ashe. She has counterplay and strengths. Her power curve is on point. She has unique reasons to bring her. Good champion. After the Ezreal nerfs, I imagine he'll be in a similar place.

Don't try the rank/level shit here or anywhere. It's rude and not wanted.

There's a big difference between your rank and your LEVEL. He's been playing a month or two. He probably doesn't even have all of the champions' kits memorized yet, let alone understand why champions work the way do.

So? No matter what level he is, he still has valuable contributions. You don't just throw away someone's words just because they are black or mentally challenged, would you? So don't do it to this guy. You don't know if he's been playing ADC a lot to where he knows a lot about them or whatever.

It's common courtesy, man. Don't be rude or mean.

I didn't "throw away" his words. I told him everything that was wrong with what he said, and then added on my opinion afterwards. The fact is that he's uninformed on what he's talking about, and he needs to know that. Just like a 13 year old needs to be told that basic algebra is not the most difficult thing in the world.

And yes, you can see every players' games in the past 3 months by looking up their stats off site.

I haven't played in awhile. But I've played long enough to know who is healthy and who isn't. It still doesn't call for your rudeness toward him.

Ashe hands down. She can do great sustained damage and carry games but has actual exploitable weaknesses.

As for your examples, Lee Sin has NEVER been balanced. He has always been a 7 or higher on the power scale. The only times where he hasn't been always played is when there are several junglers ranked 8 or higher.

Twitch is a pretty good example since he is pretty weak early game and can hard carry late. His stealth (as any in game) is pretty toxic though.

Jinx is in the same place as Lee Sin. Never been balanced. Her only weakness, mobility is pretty much totally negated by her Chompers and passive.

Jhin will be getting major nerfs once people figure out how to use him properly. He is safe due to his traps and extreme long range.

Kalista needs a COMPLETE rework at this point. Easily the most toxic ADC in the game.

"Permakiting is healthy and has counterplay." Vayne Kindred Kalista Said no one ever.

Permakiting is healthy and has counterplay.

That really depends.

Ashe is an example of an ADC who's built around kitting and has great tools in her kit for it and is one of the most healthy ADCs in the game.

Kalista is the same except she's a complete and utter piece of shit.

The most healthy ADC is caitlyn. It's not easy to kite as her as other ADCs and she does still fall off if she somehow loses lane, but her damage is quite reasonable but no where near vayne, jinx, or kog type of DPS.

Ashe and Jinx are pretty healthy, although they are much more risky in their safety than say Sivir, who has her spell shield and her movement speed buff ultimate. Though her damage is pretty low tier, but she is getting help this next patch by her W being able to crit.

Twitch has an AoE skill shot that is critical to his damage?

His ultimate.

Which is a steroid and not a skill shot? God you're stupid.

MisterHealYoGirl1 votes

I didn't make the original point; I'm just trying to explain what the OP meant. Honestly, it's a skillshot in the same way that Lucian's Piercing Light is; you can hit one for free but you have to aim it with your positioning to hit multiple people.

ADCs can't afford to have less mobility with champions like Rengar in the game lol

Somewhere along the lines of Ashe and Caitlyn.

Both have clear and defined weaknesses, and that their such weaknesses can be "avoided" by playing well and/or use proper communication with her teammates.

Anyone saying either of them is shit are people who has never played with or even seen their true potentials.

Twitch does fall along the same line as they do, but has a much higher skill floor. In his current state it's difficult for him to work with non-tanks, while as Ashe or Cait it is actually not as hard.
