Sol is a mindfuck.

I don't get him.

I don't get his kit. the W is his primary damage, but it's so easy for people to avoid it and it drains mana so fast. The Q is so weird and hard to hit, the incentive to grow it is really not that great.

The E and ult are cool though, I just wish I understood the other two better.

Does anybody have idea how to play him yet? Because I'm not figuring it out well on my own. He seems a lot like bard, where you pretty much need to have a premade team before you can really take advantage of him.

I really want to play him too, but it's just not working out.

He's very unique, not a pick up and play type champion in the slightest. Yet apparently he's easier than Yasuo.

I've logged close to 50 games between my two accounts so far and he's a lot easier than you'd think. His difficulty comes from positioning.

The mana cost of his W is offset pretty easily by RoA and blue buff. I never build anything mana wise other than RoA.

After RoA get Rylais. The perma slow means that unless they have an escape, they will not get away from your W. They burn the escape or try to turn on you, only options.

Growing his Q isn't a big perk until later in the game when teams start grouping around places like Baron/dragon pit or in a lane for sieging. I can't tell you how many 4-5 man stuns I've landed in the pits with Q+E.

Like I said before, position is everything with Sol, figure that out and you'll be golden

i fucking hate how it's literally impossible to make his q go in a straight line. it just starts drifting off to the left or right and it pisses me the fuck off and makes me hate the champ.

You make it go straight by unlocking your camera and selecting where you want it to end up, rather than firing from the hip so to speak. It does take a little bit of practice but it's easy to get down
