Looking for General Advice

I'm a support main. And I was getting some rough games, so I decided I'd only go ADC or Jungle (so ADC) for the next X number of games, and that went even worse. Possible it's me, or its possible that non-support players really hate support. Either way, I'm going back to support full time.

To that end, looking for some advice on what you do to support carry. I currently play a lot of Braum, Maokai, Karma, Zilean. Sometimes Nautilus. Typically I max the SS ( or ), the boots, then . If it's a mage, I'll grab a . Anything you can throw my way is helpful. I think I'm half decent, I just need to know how to pull out of the tailspin when we're down 12 kills.

Personally, I think that most supports are better with their fully upgraded item with the unique active, and not the sight one. A fun thing you can do, is get the active item, get all active items, and get ruby sightstone. no boots needed, it's just fun to spam actives almost all the time. (Locket, Face of Mountain, MIkael's Crucible, and more.)

I play aggressively and mostly have magey supports. These are the two items that I always get. item 2049 item 3092 The second item is great if somehow the enemy tries to escape with little health, you pull this on them. Or vice versa, youre trying to escape, you use it so they dont catch up. Not always that will work but works merely most of the time.

On every back, if I have enough gold, i'll get this down below. I usually stop buying these at end game due not having enough space for them ): item 2043

After sightstone and frost queen's, everything pretty much depends on the enemys team comp. Depending whos on the enemys team, ill build...

item 3190 if theres 2 or more AP then item 3512 or item 3157 3 or more AD champs then item 3222 for the active (although I havent personally buy it but I should).

Then after thoseee, I start building a little AP if I can. But should always build depending on the situation of the game. Not because someone says so. Please note; What I say is personal preference and what works for me ):

Also if youre looking to play other lanes other than support. I suggest trying mid. Since some support champs can do mid.
