Junglers camping lanes- Probably an Unpopular Opinion

You better be topping the damage charts. You better have the most CS in the game. You better be using that advantage. You better reach a stage (as quickly as possible) where you don't need ganks anymore. Or else it's all a waste.

Sure you might win that game. But what happens next time? What happens when you get a jg who doesn't gank for the first 20 minutes? What happens when all the other lanes are losing too? The whole camping thing is really good at convincing people they are otherwise better than they are, but stats don't lie. Damage dealt to champions and the number of assists are usually indicative of this (If you're getting this much attention you should be capable of doing something with it).

Now I'm not saying be a macho-superman hero and never need a gank again because, forget the laner, you can 1v5 the whole team, but what I AM saying is TRY YOURSELF FIRST. Now I'm not as experienced in top and bot lane, but I sure as hell can tell very quickly what kind of lane I am in, and whether or not I am: 1) am capable of winning it 2) am in danger of losing it 3) should probably just play safe-ish and farm

This might be a result of my innate sense of humility, but I try to inconvenience the jungler as much as possible (I don't often take blue buff unless offered, and rarely ask for it myself), and for the most part, I don't need their help. At least not losing lane.
