Assassins Need Some Help.
Over the past year or so, since the Mage update, ADC's and Support's have gotten many additions(usually a new change following every class update since the mage update last year). For example, redemption was added during the assassin update, making most assassin on release of the update, basically useless until a buff to lethality along with lethality using assassins resulted in, oh wait, it actually resulted in ADC's getting overpowered and assassins actually doing their job properly. But nothng can last forever, riot nerfed Talon, Zed and Kha'zix along with their main form of damage in their itemization, but guess what's strong again now, ADC's.
All i really have to say is that ADC's and Support's DO NOT need compensation for every single change that happens in the game. A set number of Marksmen are good at a single time while some classes are completely useless at times. Marksmen are the only class that is consistently needed in every single game, there isn't a need to compensate them for every little thing. I understand the changes to support's recently but, the thing is that the numerous changes and nerfs to Assassin itemization this year, the buffs to support itemization and Marksmen itemization has basically eliminated assassins unless their absolutely insanely strong. If you don't believe me here is the average winrate of assassins compared to the average winrate of Marksmen and Supports(this is based on the new Subclass list).
Marksmen 18 Member's Winrate: 50.197% Pickrate: 100%
Controler's(Supports) 14 Member's Winrate: 50.507% Pickrate: 98%
Assassins 11 member's Winrate: 49.036% Pickrate: 71%
The pickrate is basically the sum of all their pickrates, since up to 10 champions can be in a game all total class pickrates are above 50% and most(except assassins and tanks) are above 75%. With marksmen having 100% pickrate and Support's having very close to the same because, those are the only two classes in league of legends that are almost always mandatory.
To put it into perspective, this is the average of all champions combined compared to the three i just mentioned.
Average Winrate of 136 Champions in league: 49.227 The math for this one is as follows, basically i took the number of champions with a certain winrate instead of writing each ones individual winrate, basically rounded them to the nearest decimal point to get their number so it looks like this.
54%: 2 53%: 3 52%: 12 51%: 21 50%: 29
67 Champions above 50% winrate
49%: 29 48%: 13 47%: 12 46%: 8 45%: 5 42%: 1 39%: 1
69 Champions with bellow 50% winrate.
Then all i did was write down that number the number of times it appeared, so for 49, i wrote it down in the calculator 29 times, so on and so forth until all 136 number's were inside, added them together(6695), divided them by 136 and got the average of the winrates of all champions in league of legends.
The reason why i needed this was because it's useful to prove my point, If the average winrate's of all champions combined is 49.227% but the average winrate of the Marksman role is 50.197%, how come we keep buffing them, the same goes for Support's 50.507% this means that these two roles are consistently better than the overall winrate of everyone else, meaning that their actually one of the strongest classes not the weakest like many would like to argue. This data helps to prove that assassins are actually Underpowered in comparison to the entirety of league of legends, due to their winrate being bellow the average. Support's and Marksmen on the other hand are actually stronger than the average, meaning that overall the marksmen and support classes are actually a little over powered as a whole.
All i want is for assassins to be compensated for the number of nerfs to their items, the number of buffs their enemies have obtained and the overall strength of the support role when it comes to protecting themselves and other's.
