Remove the pick either or for masteries

I've been playing league since the beginning of season 1 and logged quite a bit of time on this game. I've seen many changes come and go, op items and mechanics removed, but this preseason has me scratching my head over the masteries. As far back as I can remember, Riot encouraged showing creative and diverse builds and setups for champs (was even stated in this preseason patch) so why are they taking a step backwards from that direction by creating very clear cookiecutter mastery builds? Half my pages were designed for very specific things I wanted to do with champions because in my eyes it helped my playstyle, now I dont even think I will end up using half my pages with the current setups, some champions dont even do well with any of the current keystones either. Remove the split/pick either or up till the keystones and give us back some diversity and creativity that always came with that part of the game.

It was a very poor and bewildering change, yea...

Honestly, I like this change. The masteries before were always fairly cookie cutter as well, and you would use the same mastery page for the same class of champions in most cases. Now, I feel like when I do my masteries, I'm doing them for a particular champion, rather then for an entire class.

Do I think the masteries have everything at the moment? No, I think supports could use some more love, but I think this is a step in the right direction. If they add masteries in the future to add options for some missed opportunities, it won't be as game shattering as it would have been before, due to the exclusivity on each row.
