I must say, these Veigar changes are the best thing to happen to the game in a long time! <3
Veigar's changes are so good. I always hated playing against a champion that could cheese me instantly at level 6 after getting me down to around 3/4 HP. It was the easiest stun ever to hit if you got good with it, and the fact it was point + click made it even worse, as I couldn't even dodge the damage. Undodgable damage + undodgable stun = 0 counterplay THE CHAMPION. The best you could do is build a QSS or a Banshee's Veil (hoping it wouldn't get popped by someone else before the Veigar decided to try and insta-gib you just for breathing the same air within a 20 foot radius of him. Sure, he had absolutely no impact on a teamfight after his insta-gib, but the fact he could take anyone out of a fight instantly made him ridiculous. Adding counterplay onto his kit is something I embrace.
To be quite frank, even Lee Sin has more counterplay against him than old Veigar did. Annie has the same bad design going on as Veigar; almost guaranteed stun if you mastered her ranges/radius of the Tibbers ult. I hope they give Annie the Veigar treatment also, maybe make it so Tibbers has to be summoned over a full second and/or that she has to charge her W for .5 seconds before casting it. Maybe make it so that her Q is unable to stun also while we are at it. We can compensate her by increasing her ranges and lowering her mana costs somewhat; maybe make her Q a skillshot also that explodes in AOE on-hit, thus giving it a reason to still be allowed to stun instead of "point, click, stun".
We need to stop looking at champions who have kits that are already fleshed out and balanced, like Leblanc, Lee Sin, Zed, and (now) Kalista and think more of how to properly fix the underplayed champions in healthy ways that could bring them back into viability, because constant nerfing is what you guys hate Riot doing. Fix through buffs/changes instead of just nerfing other champions currently considered overplayed due to their current healthy gameplay in the meta into obscurity. Doing that only creates more Azir scenarios (38% win rate).
Veigar does need buffs, but Riot did their best to fix this unhealthy and completely broken champion (kit, not power/effectiveness in the meta) and should not be constantly shamed due to increasing strategic diversity in the game. Jungle is going in a good direction also. Sure, only a few junglers are effective at the moment as you all have said a million times over and over in the forums, but Riot is only doing this to increase jungler diversity. The less junglers that are effective, the more chances for the meta to shift into making other junglers effective. I think that is how it works; nonetheless, Riot knows what they are doing, they are experts. Now please stop spamming the forums with Riot flame threads and focus more on how awesome the skins Riot have been releasing are. Seriously, DJ Sona is one of Riot's best skins ever, my favorite ultimate skin for sure. Everyone should help support Riot by buying more of their skins. You will get AWESOME skins that Riot works extremely hard on and puts a lot of time into AND help them keep the hardworking people in their company stay funded so they can keep bringing us this AWESOME content, like more skins, champs, and better changes to the overall game that will bring more strategic diversity to help switch up the game from the usual meta. Remember, all you have to do is buy some SWEET flair. It doesn't even cost that much. Be cool, buy skins.

. Never get hit again. It didn't need nerfs there is enough tenacity in this game that the counter play was here but people even in higher elos than me can't figure it out. And with merc treads you even have MR.
