Yea the damage creep is becoming a problem
Ok, you know there is a problem with damage creep when tanks are starting to phase out of games. I'm not saying I don't see them anymore, but very rarely do I see a top/jungle tank combo on my team. Almost every lane is running glass cannon dps, at the very least bruiser builds with a focus on damage. It's just not worth it to be a tank anymore. The fact that you can build pure tank and still be melted faster than butter in the microwave is a huge deterrent to building tanky. Nobody wants to commit to a 20-50 minute game and build tanky when the entire time they are just getting tossed around. It's not fun. TANKING IS NOT FUN ANYMORE. It used to be fun to go HAM into the enemy team and get them to focus you while your carries did work. Now you jump in and by the time your carries are even in the fight you have already exploded. Then your team yells at you for being a scrub because "why would you fight 1v5?" Well let me tell you, in previous seasons that was called an engage. The tank would engage the enemy team and draw focus so the carries can come in and clean everything. Now I rarely see that. All I see now is both teams run at each other and whoever can mash their buttons the fastest wins, because one spell rotation in almost any situation is enough to completely demolish anybody. There is almost no chance of counter play anymore. You can't perform any awesome counter plays when they happened to use their spell first and you explode after one rotation. The damage creep is seriously starting to ruin this game and is forcing out an entire class of champions from the game.

3 of the last 4 ad champs all do percent health damage. Top also had many percent health champions already before that. Adcs are all building armor pen. So most times it just feels better playing a bruiser like darius or illaoi than an actual tank.
