Can we add ad/ap scaling to Yoricks Q heal?

I'm not asking to tweak the numbers so its on average weaker or stronger than it is now, but can we add some sort of scaling to yoricks Q heal? It feels really bad when an ability heal like that is just a flat amount. It just makes it so that certain builds are way more viable than others. At least if you add a scaling element to it it allows you to choose to focus on it or not, making builds more diverse. I mean its not a new idea, just as an example Aatroxs' W heal operates almost the EXACT same way, it doubles if he is below half hp and that has scaling on it. Thoughts?

Im pretty sure they wanted to avoid adding scaling returns on healing because every time they do, they end up with vlad/irelia syndrome where they heal so much through scaling with items that its difficult to balance them effectively.

No. These kinds of frivolous scalings are why a handful of champions end up as a pain in the ass to play against-- because they hit a point where their scaling does all their legwork and simple builds yield disproportionate results.

Yorick's Q bottoms at a 5sec CD, 3 sec with 40% CDR (not difficult for him, a mana jugg)-- with scaling he would be able to proc high numbers constantly. They would have to effectively gut it early to mid-game to counter balance the fact that once he gets going, he won't stop. Besides, he's not really meant to be a drain tank.

The only way this would work is to release the clutch on it so it's flat across all health% for him (kind of against the image imo), or-- to pull an idea from elsewhere-- it would be nice to have a bonus against champions.

If they did that, it might be better to split that power budget between being a little less potent on minions, with more total effect on champions compared to current numbers. I just don't want Yorick to end up over the edge, and then they nerf the guts out of him and we have to wait a season before he's even remotely viable against a sentient being.

I honestly feel that it should scale with health, considering he is meant to be a juggernaut.

Yea, that would actually be really interesting, I didn't think about that. Although they would have to be careful because if it was too strong I can see it snowballing out of control very quickly.

What would you think about if it scaled off how much health per 5 he has? There is no ability in the game that does that. It would kinda make a "health regen" build viable.

Health regen and mana regen are one of the most boring aspects of the game. Mana got a mini rework with the MYMU, but HP regen never did. Could be nice to see that.

Or make it double vs champions If he is below half hp and hits a champion it quadruples. I know that sounds like a lot but itant really And it makes sense when he is fighting someone 1v1 and gets low , he gets it heal more

its fine the way it is

its some nice extra sustain in and out of combat not too weak not too strong either

it's prefect

I don't think that's a good idea. AP scaling doesn't really make much sense since he's not an AP champ. AD scaling would be a nerf IMO since he usually doesn't build much AD (I just build Triforce into tank usually, sometimes I get Sterak's).

I think as a juggernaut with no real gap closer, letting his heal be strong without having to stack AD/AP is better so he can build tank stats. The heal is already pretty strong IMO, especially with Spirit Visage.

I mean, it makes it so you dont have to feel "bad" when you build an item with ap on it. I'm not saying it should be a legitimate build path for him, it could be a VERY SMALL scaling amount, but just to have it would be nice.
