Riot, can we PLEASE get some context on why jungle is getting blanket nerfed?
The current nerfs are makings champions like
, who need chilling smite to maybe gank successfully. The last few patches have successfully nerfed the following champions in SOME way
Can't start Trailblazer and switch to Chilling to gank after 6
No longer has any chance of ganking without chilling smite
Can't get trailblazer early and then switch to chilling for better ganks.
Needs trailblazer early but is still pretty bad in ganks without Chilling smite (which was also nerfed)
Have fun ganking
and many more high mobile champions since you can't even smite to get the movespeed unless you're already on them practically. Also cannot switch to Chilling after getting off to a decent start from trialblazer.
Can't smite to slow to get closer for a Q until you're already in Q range.
Must go trailblazer for early sustain, easily gets behind if ganks don't succeed (and they often don't in the League of Mobility)
Chilling smite means the Rock can't get close without ult.
Can't smite champions for his slows of doom so his laner can lay the damage on (because lets be honest 90% of the time Nunu isn't the major damage source)
Harder to gank without ult since you can't slow from smite range nerf. Pretty much rely on 3 min cooldown to gank once.
Even with his 40% slow often can't get close enough to do more damage, smite range doesn't help that.
Can't smite to get closer for stun. I guess there's always
...
Needs trailblazer early, needs chilling for gank. Taking both costs you extra, because reasons.
Can't get near people to knock up since she can't smite from as far (at least there's
)
Can't get close enough to laners to smite anymore (based on the game I played it actually is a pretty significant difference, most of my ganks failed unless I flashed or my laner hit a lot of CC, thanks
)
Same as most other tank junglers. Balls clear, need trailblazer for sustain, need chilling for ganks.
At least 50% of the time has to burn summoner spell to use Q.
And now, some champions who were pretty much unphased in the last patch:
interesting. I'd also put
here except for the fact that he himself got nerfed.
The biggest problem with these changes isn't that it's making jungle collectively weaker, it's that it's also pretty much enforcing a meta of about 5 champions dominating, hard.
