Now that tanks have 0 damage or dueling power they cannot be played top lane vs the likes of fiora (% hp dmg) irelia (true dmg) and the many other popular top laners... so unless your on an organized team there is no reason to play one. I understand a tank should not be able to 1 v 5 like a riven or yasou, but the fact that after about 1 item most tanks cannot handle the enemy laner and is able to be tower dove.....

I feel like tanks always lost against fighters. Been playing Nautilus top, always coming out of lane behind in farm. Play passively, try my best to farm, do better in teamfights and win. I'll try other tanks before I deem them "removed from top lane". I tried Poppy a few times as well but Poppy just kinda sucks at the moments. Thinking I'll try Malphite and Shen next. I usually play Sion as a full out health Zombie juggernaut (try to do as much before I die and run rampant as a zombie) but I'll try him with a tank build top lane.
There is no reason to play them even when you are on an organized team, because being either a) demolished or b) highly zoned out of creeps means you won't contribute much tankiness later on anyway.
I don't see any real change. Tanks haven't been in top lane for some time.

Squirmishers and fighters have much more gameplay and more exicting lanes than watch tank build tabi sunfire and roll the face on keyboard or just watch 2 tanks do nothing just waiting to TP bot.
So what you are saying is that tanks are not acting like fighters but instead are acting more like tanks?
