Riot please fix recommended items. For ALL champions. (Jungle thread)

If I am Fiora with smite, it should not be recommending dorans blade.

Please don't tell me who can jungle, and who can not.

Also Sion, which makes no sense whatsoever, at least Shy and Cho are somewhat competent counterjunglers. (Shy's one of the best in the game)

I love Shyvana with Poacher's. It's too easy to ruin the enemy jungler's farm... unless your team decides to play too aggressive and being ganked every time.

Item sets are stored locally, and not stored on the server. Between losing my items sets a few times (switching machines, repairing client, etc), AND having items get removed or updated and deleted from my item sets.... Nah, it's too much work. I just want my starter items to be proper, so I can click my machete/2 pots/trinket.

Riot stated that if you start with smite that all starting builds are supposed to be jungle item 2 pots and yellow. THe smite spell is supposed to be a switch that is not working on all champs.

I love the custom item list, I just wish it wasn't client side.

I had a ton of item lists, one for every champ I like to play and a few for champs I rarely play. I did a Windows reinstall and lost all of it. Now I only have three item sets for my most played, but I miss the others.

That makes no sense. "They made a ton of builds so they should not make any more". Having done a ton already just makes it worse that others were left out.

As in they already updated them to what they think they should be at, there is no sense in wasting time re-updating them. Recommended pages are for new players and what is perceived best for new players but not exactly the best for experienced players.

But again, just make your own damn page.

Takes little time to make a page. More realistic suggestion would be to store item builds on the server, or the repair option to not remove them.

And seriously? You are THAT lazy?

They are friggin item pages, just type the first 2 letters in the search bar and grab what you want. They shouldn't take any time out of what they are doing because of such dumb reasons.

I only have 15 seconds to buy my first items after the game loads. If I do accidentally click the dorans blade and have to undo it, sometimes it takes me longer than 15 seconds to undo it and fix it.
Riot made a change a few patches ago to make the game "detect" if you had smite, and change the recommended items accordingly. But they only changed this for a select few champions. So no, it isn't a "dumb reason", and yes, Riot SHOULD fix it, for consistency's sake. Why only make the change for some champions instead of ALL champions? A machete isn't optional on junglers anymore.

Holy hell if it takes you 15 seconds to buy items you need to start booking it, I see everyone leave the fountain no more then 5 seconds.

They changed it for all champions. A lot more then a few patches, this was pre season shit. And they have far better things to devote time towards because of you being slow and lazy.

Not really. I always use the recommended item pages because it's much faster than finding the items in the main list (either by filtering, scrolling, or typing.)

Even when the items I want are not in the recommended items list, I can almost always find an item with a component that I want, and find the item I want from there.

When there's nothing even remotely close in the recommended item list, it makes it much harder to find the items I need (until I make a custom item set.)

If you take something strange into the jungle, like Fiora (who actually has a GREAT jungling kit), it won't change because Riot doesn't think she's a jungler.

and then repair my client and it gets deleted.

Or an item gets updated and deleted from my item set.

Or the season changes and ALL the items change and get deleted from the item set.

I used item sets in season 3/4, and it was not worth the upkeep.

Rare? Not really. Cinderhulk just got added. If I had tank jungler item sets, that would have forced me to update all of them.

Sometimes an item will get updated (buffed or nerfed) and the item code will change for no reason, removing it from my list.

And I repair my client like at least once every one or two months. I'll get some stupid bug (like FPS drops), repair it to fix it, then go "nope, didn't fix it, Riot actually broke it and doesn't care"

A lot of support's recommended items are goofy as well.

You actually DON'T build item 3089 or item 3157 on Lulu support, unless you're fed and rich as fuck, which is rare in the case of supports. Suggesting such items for starters is a total noobtrap. You want her to be a mid/toplaner? Don't suggest her any of the support item starts either!
