is the CDR minor rune worth it?

So i'm playing a lot of Sona, not 100% if i should be focusing more on doing damage early going for that sweet sweet bonus defense and bonus CDR. Like even before it was a thing i was often topping out my CDR by level 10 with 3 items (suppport, boots, and first "actual" item). So the question is simple, should i switch to a different "better" thing or keep the bonus CDR for before i hit level 10?

If you plan on topping out your CDR through items anyway, it's not worth it.

However, if you aren't you should take it.

There's also the option of picking up Transcendence if you cap out on too much CDR, which will convert the CDR into damage later in the game.

I think it's the second worst rune right after the HP/Lv rune. Wouldn't recommend it. It only gives you 5% CDR at level 9, honestly by that time you got SO MUCH more value out of every other rune it makes you question why this was even included. I think they should remove it and replace it by splitting the adaptive force rune into +6AD and +10AP, this would be better because maybe a mage would like to take some AD sometimes to help him lasthit early.

CDR is important, and the CDR rune thing is either the most valuable or least valuable, depending on your build. If you take Transcendence, it provides just as much ap as the adaptive damage, so, there's always that to consider.

I think it's fine as it is. I know champs like Kayle can benefit a lot from it because of how slow it is to even get 30% cdr on her before level 10. it also makes it so she's not completely tied to Sorcery JUST for the sake of keeping her E up at all times.

But it's all a matter preference I'd say at this point. Making champion builds this time around is almost the same as building a Hearthstone deck. There's a lot of 'meta' decks out there but there's also fun builds that can be competitively viable. Play your game!
