So been playing a couple games against her and keep having the same issue pop up. Despite being spam happy with her skills, i have yet to see this champion ever have mana issues. I'm not expecting her to run OOM after 1-2 rotations, but DAMN if she doesn't seem to always have 50% or more of her mana no matter have aggressive she has been with her spells.
Just Blame Jenny25 votesNever had a problem against Xayah. Strafe sideways, abuse her cooldowns. If she's using her cooldowns to harass, she's going to be really vulnerable to an all in. Furthermore, bear in mind that while she does have great wave clear, her wave clear costs a ton of mana. If you push hard, she struggles to push back without sacrificing kill pressure.
Also, never chase Xayah. Just don't. She's like Singed. If you chase Xayah for long, you're going to die.
I've also played a fair bit of Xayah. I'm not an ADC main by any means, but I played her to learn how she works. If you understand her kit and her cooldowns, she's much easier to abuse.
Granted I'm only silver, so eh. Take that with a grain of salt.

I'm also fine with Fizz being nerfed to absolute oblivion. Not just getting his already insane ratios "buffed to compensate" for -10 damage on his base.
Both of them have overstuffed kits with too many effects packed into a single ability. Both of them are literally unkillable just because they can press a button every 5 seconds. Both of them can do 5k damage in less than two seconds at level 11. Both of them can function just fine by building pure tank if they feel like it. Both of them are ungankable and can push faster than 90% of all mages with no concern for conserving their mana the way a Xerath or Morgana must.
I want those two nerfed into the ground. They have too much of everything, and this latest Fizz "nerf" is an insulting, mean-spirited joke.
Remember when they stripped the silence off LeBonk's Q because she had too much going on? Why won't Riot do the same thing to Fizz's trollpole? It has a huge area massive damage AoE, a slow, it moves him a good 1,000 units for free, and it makes him invulnerable during all that?! By comparison, LB's silence was trivial.
And, considering how gated her damage is now, and her new direction as a "utility manipulator", maybe she should have that silence back...

This is the post you replied to, when Ekko was new he had no mana cost on his ult. Mana costs do get increased when Riot does subsequent tunning but on release a lot of champs have had disgustingly low mana costs.

She's farming in that part of the game and using the roots defensively and if you die to her early its either her support playing great or you having a total disrespect of the power of her feathers.

She has felt really feast or famine. She either does 50%+ of your life in 1.5 seconds, or barely scratches 20% over a 30 second extended trade.
Zerenza1 votesIt's how she's made...it's not really that she's feast or famine it's just she doesn't spike in power like other ADC's do with 1 or even 2 items based on your build. So if your behind, it feels like your useless because you either don't have a single item or only have one and that's not where her powerspike is. If your really far ahead then you have 2 items and you feel much stronger, but that's kind of just how she's built, if your even you feel just as strong as if your at 2 items because your not behind or ahead so your enemy isn't OP af to you.
You don't HAVE to be ahead to feel strong, like with many assassins, you just need to be even which isn't feast or famine its just how her kit scales.

The issue is a little less her damage and a little more that she never runs out of mana to use her abilities. So yes i can side strafe but it doesn't do much when she can just keep throwing spells and zoning me out as i dodge her abilities.

I've played her a bit and honestly her early game isn't that great, I try to use my q as little as possible and only ever do so whenever my sup engages or if the wave is big. Her w costs a lot of mana too so if I overstay in lane it's a huge problem. I've had times where I'll have half my mana and we'll go to engage and suddenly I have 0 mana. Her feathers last 6 seconds I believe and as long as you're not standing in front of 3 feathers you'll be fine, I don't ever use her e to farm in lane because it has a long cooldown and without it getting a kill becomes harder.
