Why not just make it so you have to have vision of an enemy in order to active it? Wouldn't that fix at least some of the problems? -_- idk just a thought.

Part of the purpose was for scouting, So I doubt they will remove that feature.

Seems like the current patch, plus the recent nerfs on the PBE suggest that they are hitting the Items defensive abilities. Making a lot less useful as a self peel.

That would probably hit many of the abuse cases, by immobile mages using it to become ungankable.

It doesn't help the abuse cases where Mages are using it to set up their full combo. Riot nerfed the item, but it's still an auto-buy on any AP mid laner.

Realistically, that would be a bigger abuse case in the support role. Since supports have a lot more cc themselves, and usually have the ADC with them.

Personally, I think the problem is that FQC is one of the best Regen items. It's ridiculously cheap. Making it one of the fastest ways to get the mana you need. If you want it out of the hands of mid laners, Give them better options.

Supports can't 100-0 at level 6. Well, typically.

If a Lux / Xerath / Vel'koz gets the item, it lets them set up full combo, incredibly easily. Aside from the active, the passive is also relatively good. I'll see mid laners with 500+ gold gen, by 25-30min. That's a respectable return on an item.

If they want to fix it, they need to remove the heat-seeking Morgana Q's. If the ghosts did damage instead of slowing, that'd be fine. If they turned into blue wards at the end of their life, that'd be fine. If they wanted to give it the old active back, that'd be the best.
