That's not TahmKench !!

It's definitely not Fiora wearing a tahm suit proccing a vital with lunge

It looks like it's just a visual bug where the ability animation and the actual ability aren't in line. I'm guessing you weren't aiming 90 degrees away from Kayle?

It happens occasionally with Sion's Q, as well, if it isn't charged to the knock-up - he whips his axe in the completely wrong direction, but still hits the correct area. It's easier to tell that it's just a desync (or whatever) with Sion, though, since the charge-up animation and the hitbox indicator show correctly.

bruh do you close your eyes when throwing skill shots?

Yeah I've seen the video. Wow.

It wasn't the turret giving the damage, because at no point was the turret actually hitting Kayle. She aggro'ed it for an instant but she went out of range immediately and so the turret was quickly back to hitting creeps.

It was Tahm Kench's tongue somehow still hit Kayle with THAT level of missing aim. Not to mention Tahm's passive proc'ed, hence clearly signalling that it hit for some reason. And yeah it should deserve to at least get a look at.

This reminds me of the Thresh's hook, where before there was a time its hitbox was so broken it literally would hook people even if you can very clearly see that it obviously missed the target by a country mile (Thresh's hook to this day still have his rather ambiguous hitbox, but more tolerable at least). This case is that, just I think far more extreme.

The animation possibly bugged and shot out in the wrong direction. How that would happen I don't know.

Can only assume she flashed

That was my first thought but I thought his tongue retracted pretty quickly after hitting something.

She did not, I assure you. I have the replay as well.

If you can show that one part to show she didn't flash, it'd be pretty hilarious to see.

That's the biggest load of bullsh*t that I've ever seen if that just straight up registered a hit.

It's not a turret shot because it applied a stack of his passive. The game actually had the audacity to look at Kench's tongue and say yeah, that hit.

DrCyanide1 votes

The video makes it pretty clear cut. Tahm's passive fell off before the Q, then was reapplied after the Q missed/hit.

Raxistaicho1 votes

This same thing actually happened to me once as well. I was playing Irelia against Tahm, he tongued out into the river but I was closer to my turret. Somehow it registered a hit.

MinaZer01 votes

His tongue didn't register adding onto the passive though, the claws showed as she was walking up to the tower, then when Kayle was struck, she still had the claws and not the additional body of the lobster like she should have had.

Watch the video again, the claws wore off for a second.

MinaZer03 votes

yea, prob just another Cassiopeia ult backwards braindead bug.

Kukan Seishin1 votes

Cassiopeia Ult backwards is not a bug, if it was Riot would have looked into it by now, it is used a ton in pro play, and if it was a bug they would have stated it so and it would have been addressed, no, it is merely a game mechanic, she starts the animation of r backwards then flashes forwards, she then ults the people in front of her, as she is now facing that way. Don't post if you don't know what you are talking about.

MinaZer03 votes

it is definitely a visual bug, she activates the ult backwards, then flashes forward with her last position being forward, but the ult faces backwards, theres a very short delay on her ult, R > Flash, activating the ult then flashing forward and the ult looks like it activated backwards means its a visual bug, just more spaghetti code like this thread is about.

Kukan Seishin1 votes

yea, prob just another ult backwards braindead bug.

What is this whole braindead thing then?

And if it is a visual bug, whhhhhyyyyyy hasn't Riot looked into it? I mean, it has ACTUALLY been around FOREVER, I don't think they are gonna change it cause there is no reason to. Calling it a braindead bug makes it sound like you are bitching about a animation cancel... (please don't be like those people who think rivens animation cancels are bugs too) Now, SHOULD her ult backwards and F change direction and cancel the animation, yeah, I think so, Should it show the ult look backwards.... meh? I don't think it is necessary, but it is not gamebreaking

MinaZer01 votes

because its a braindead fix, simple. all bugs especially visual bugs are not appealing to look at in the least, idc if they fix it or not, not complaining about shit, with a company that makes decent money, you would think they would fix garbage visuals. That is all.

Yeah that makes sense, I agree with that

The first stack expired and he applied it again. It looks like his tongue actually registered a hit.

The video shows the passive falling off, Tahm throwing Q out the wrong way, then Kayle being hit and having the passive re-applied.

Snowplosion1 votes

I have a question. Why did you aim your tongue lash there?

notice me Sin pi1 votes

probably just mouse slipping or misclicking Q (with quickcast activated)

Fondling Gems1 votes

Looks like a numbers error. Skillshot followed one trajectory (the right one) model followed an incorrect one. A bit uncommon to see one like that in LoL, but actually a pretty common bug throughout games. Put in a report a bug post and I am sure Riot will get around to checking it out. Bugs like that can be tricky to track down just because it usually has to be a number of specific things coming together at once to pull them off, and as they are both rare to have happen and they aren't a gamebreaking bug either they can fall pretty low down on the fix list.

Give it a couple patches, we will probably see a fix in the notes by then.

As Irelia, its possible to be hit by skillshots on the other side of the map when you use Q.

If you hit Vi with a displacement during her ult, she finishes the ult, does damage, then gets knocked back the full distance. I assume this one was due to the effected by any CC duration remaining once the ult ends change.

Xela Syab1 votes

Watching the video, I assumed you aimed for Kayle right? Essentially what happened was an animation glitch, this has been used on occasion with Thresh where you auto cancel while pressing quick cast and dragging the cursor during the animation. Essentially the ability registers as going the direction you cast but the animation syncs with the mouse cursor.

Quepha1 votes

Did it do that when you were actually playing? There are some replay-only bugs where skillshots can appear as if they're aiming in a different direction than they actually are.

Yeah it looked the same in-game. The kayle was really mad about it because I swallowed her and spit her under turret after that
