Why is Illaoi's Q's Hitbox Still Broken?

This is not a QQ thread, i play Illaoi quite often actually, I noticed the Q hitbox being way too big both with and against her. It was like that on release when i first played her and it is still like that. Can it be fixed yet? The thing does a ton of damage and its a little silly for it to still hit someone who is well out of its indicated damage zone. The actual hitbox is probably double what the indicator shows sometimes.
