Mage item buffs and the lack of complaints

Did you guys notice that for the most part, not many people are complaining about mages despite the fact that nearly every item they build was buffed?

That's because right now, with Jayce and Varus taking over mid, people don't mind a rise in popularity of AP mid laners.

Because the items buffed their early game and mid game but weakened their late game, they way it should be. Mages were suppose to be strong early and mid then leveling off while adc take late

Also items were needed in ap but buffed in utility

Thats because it didnt make anyone but ezreal and dianna op. I just wish they would show adcs the same love they're showing mages. Before you say adcs have crit, well tanks have thornmail. If your team doesnt peel properly, hes on you, youre out of the fight and you either escape or die. I've lost fights as a fed adc against a behind tank because he had thornmail, randuins warmogs and spirit visage. Even with infinity edge, pd, bt, botrk, last whisper and a red pot his thornmail still did more damage then my healing. I shouldnt do no damage, a tank deal a crap ton of damage and have his thornmail do more damage then my healing when I have an armor pen item and two life steal items. At this point I can solo baron in about 12 seconds and walk away with full health but cant kill a tank? Okay... There is no counter or balance on AD +AA Based champions for tanks with thornmail. With this being a tank meta and if you have 3 or more ad champs on your team or any ad champ on your team gets fed then trust and believe at least two people on the enemy team will have it. And no picking a primarily ap team or have your ap mid focus the tanks in team fights is not a fix. There are games where the enemy teams engage outweighs your teams peel. I shouldnt die as an adc who is up on the tank my 8k gold because on one item.
