Like aside from this ult that share gold on the kill, 
Can be frontline killer tanky for their adc while 
can provide the damage with cc.
The only difference is the share gold from his ult otherwise he just ad assassin, honestly.

There no trolling if you pick that 4 champions cause every one of them do the same as pyke , Daruis and urgot can finish people below % hp while panth and wukong can make best engage. Infact i got autofilled in support role in ranked game and i was titled to play any kind of support i took wukong and carried the whole team i made their bot lane goes 0-10 by the end of match while my adc had few kills and was alive.

I talking when people pick urgot or daruis or wukong or etc, people treat them like they troll and they should be reported.

Wukong doesn't have shitty engage special after 6 neither is panth.

Also Pantheon's ult takes 3 fucking years of channeling. "Engage" is usually something able to be carried out in a couple seconds at most, not long enough for me to walk from end to end of the map as Mordekaiser while I have a Morgana in URF chasing me before he jumps.

Other than that he's basically the Blitzcrank of "supports".

That's kind of like saying "What can Soraka do aside from healing?".
Not to say I don't agree. Pyke could VERY easily have been made into a jungler instead and fit there perfect. In fact, that's what people did to him on the PBE and Riot had to nerf it.

Its probably easier to build and play Pyke as an assassin in any lane then the memed crit-banana. op isn't just bringing up the similarities in the kits, but also in power.

Other than that, these guys suck as supports for one reason or another. Bad poke/CC, weak lane or roaming, and bad scaling with low gold.
Baron Barian1 votesDarius and Urgot's ONLY CC is too short ranged to the point that they can't even attempt it without getting poked out or dying. They also do quite a bit of area damage which could accidently steal cs.
Wukong really has nothing. No sustain, no utility, no CC until lvl 6. Worthless as a support.
Pantheon is the only one that might work, even Keegun tried it once recently. But it still is just not a good idea. He's only good at killing, so building support items will mean he's only valued at all for those items, yet building full damage will mean you are supportless. In lane, he has only an AA block for defense, and with no sustain at all, he can and will be outpoked by the enemy ADC and even the support. That engage of his is also incredibly risky, simply because he's a glass cannon and con potentially die faster then the guy he stuns. It could work in some match-ups, but you shouldn't start maining Panth support.
Pyke has everything these guys don't have. Sustain, CC, roaming potential, and a reliable engage so that he can get plays started. He was designed to have everything that a support is suppose to have.

Pykes passive allows him to sustain much more poke then any of those. His q e combo allows him to close the gap and hard cc. And yes his ult means that taking the kill is a good thing. But mainly it's the rest of his kit that makes him a viable support.
