Is there a reason people keep taking jhin mid?

Its trash. 9/10 assassins damage him early. 10/10 assassins can kill him before he can blink late game. Every mage offers more to the table than he can. I just dont understand

Strongest lvl 1 in the game, scales well and can roam. If your Jhins are failing, the problem is not in the champion.

I dont play jhin, so that wasnt what this was about. Sure his lvl 1-3 is pretty damn strong. But post 6? His roams are absolute horse sh*t compared to assassins. I have deletd jhin mid time and time again with champions like lb, katarina, orianna and im pretty sure once with akali.

shitty players =/= shitty champion. Jhin mid offers more utility than a lot of mages, anyway. He's also a good pick mid with large amounts of wave clear, good damage, and safety. His ult is one of the strongest engaging tools in the game and lets him be completely safe while using it.

Completely safe? Do you know how satisfying it is to be an assassin jump behind him and cut him down before he can react. He isnt good mid.

satisfying =/= doable.

Consider that jhin can sit half a screen behind his team and slow your team's backline with his ult. for you, as an assassin, to come up behind him, you need to do some serious flanking. serious enough that your own team can not assist you, if you are caught and initiated on.

Evelynn "Flanking you say?" The chances are he is ulting in to a team fight, one where his team is probably far above him and he maybe has a support by his side. Kat can easily delete either of them and get the reset for double. Leblanc can w e,q,r ignite and finish him before there is a reaction time. Eve, will just do eve things, it isnt hard

Kat gets exhausted and CCed LB will get CCed (if you play Thresh you negate her W completely and block the chain) Eve is pretty much useless the longer the game goes.

We are talking about m id lane jhin btw. The chance of him getting a support there, is kinda rare. The chances of you getting a cc support are even slimmer. the chances of getting the reaction time perfectly are also weak. Eve isnt useless. Lmao

Aye, it's the most satisfying thing to happen, cause the assassin will die. There's a reason supports tend to peel.
