For me, the sad part about the mordekaiser rework is...

He was already pretty viable, and not only that, but he was seeing a decent amount of play. There was absolutely no need for riot to make changes to him this large and gameplay altering.

The only " toxic " thing about him before was how much his E chunked you in lane, and that certainly doesn't call for forcing him into a duo lane and forcing all of his power into one of the most horribly feast or famine bullshit abilities in the game.

What about Vladimir? I think you can argue Vladimir's Q is more toxic than anything morde did in lane.

It's just disappointing, mordekaiser needed only the slightest changes and he would have been fine. Riot doesn't seem to understand that it's okay for some champions to be played less than others, that it's okay for some champions to be niche picks.

And morde certainly had his playerbase, morde was doing fine, but riot is going to do what riot is going to do.
