If you get a main role and someone dodges, you shouldn't get autofilled

Seriously, talk about unfair. I assume it's just the algorithm Riot uses for queuing, but this is one of the most frustrating things about queuing and it needs to be changed, especially since dodges often happen in chains. If there's a dodge, that means a new person is getting drawn into the game. Autofill THEM. Autofill the one who has the shortest wait time, not the ones who've sat through most of champ select 4 times and waiting 7 minutes for their role.

its kind of like getting a hero you're good at in aram , someone dodges, and then getting something like Aatrox

The one problem you're not considering is the following scenario: You were put in to a team with your main role, say Mid (queued mid/top). Then there's a dodge (say your filled support dodged). HOWEVER you also had a filled ADC on your team. Next queue, the guy that came in actually put ADC primary or secondary. So your filled ADC would no longer need to be filled if this new guy took ADC. The algorithm gives him ADC. Now your filled ADC gets given Mid like he queued for, and you got bumped to fill.

Sure, in this scenario it would have been more fair for your filled ADC to be refilled to support, but regardless that's just one edge case that I came up with in 2 seconds. There are likely a lot more "cycles" where it's simply suboptimal to just autofill the new guy that joined the game when they can put more people in their preferred roles otherwise.

In general, you should just be guaranteed to get autofilled if you dodge when autofilled - so people stop dodging when autofilled. The system should explicitly wait until it needs to fill you (rather than put you in a game where it didn't need a fill if that were available first) as further punishment for dodging when filled.
