When I first saw "shoots a comet", my mind turned to thoughts of PHENOMINAL COSMIC POWER!!! But it looks more like just the itty-bitty living space. I mean, it's so...small and not-overtly-threatening in appearance.
It looks less like a comet and more like Viktor's Fairy Godmother spit out her coffee when she saw him deathlaser somebody and realised he would never be a real boy again
I like that's it's smaller. It amuses me when it flies out and smacks people, dealing actual damage.
Arcane comet used to be ALOT bigger and when you proced it, it used to go flying over your head towards the target kinda like a Corki bomb.
it’s just a smaller punier Xerath ult. Now everyone can know the unsatisfaction of the VFX of a Xerath ult.

"Visual Clutter" is probably why they didn't make it a massive effect. I would like it to be like Ice Comet from ESO but that is way over the top for passive rune in lol. xD

Maybe it could get bigger and faster based your damage number (so AP or AD)? Not the actual comet around you, don't need more visual clutter, but just in action?
Yeah I really hate it its such a boring ability.
They should rename it to "Arcane Pebble".
Make it larger the more AP / AD you have (just visually, radius stays the same).
Some of the secondary runes have more noticeable effects than the keystones.
