Idea: jungle monsters give 0 exp to non machete holders until 20 minutes
Heavy handed change to make it so Laners stop poaching jungle monsters

Even 5 minutes would solve the issue to be honest.
I made a similar thread this morning asking for it to be at levels 1 and possibly 2 rather than based on game time though.
That's such a bug fix-y, terrible band-aid fix that I think you're qualified to work at Riot. They hired someone as stupid as stashu, so you're a shoe-in.

Your attitude is horrendous and you shun things immediately. You should go work at EA or Activision.

Isnt that what this pitiful downvote/upvote system is designed for?

Actually it's not, it's made to signal bad comments (either because they're false, or offensive or wtv). If you want to disagree, you can say it and we'll remember it.
If someone takes it, use the lens like you did pre-patch.
Stop treating jungle monsters as your stuff, it is team property. I'd laugh at your butt when they counter jungle and no one comes to help.
This would be an interesting idea to enforce laners not to take the jungle monsters early on. It's a common tactic now at higher play especially Pro scenes where bot starts Golems and that they have 'two' junglers.
Whereas the 'main' jungler has machette and the side jungler helps with damage and clearing speed but takes the small ones instead. The question is then if it would be a great idea to invalidate a complete pro tactic and enforce the current meta of 1/1/2 and jungle or if it should remain like this to encourage 2/1/0 and 2 junglers for the Pro scene and those who dare to imitate them.

The pro scene only ever invents things to abuse the game.
You mean Korea. All the other regions don't really do anything new which is why they look so outclassed.
But on topic I think until 4 or 5 min is fine since they will probably be rushing to lane for cs instead of taking jungle at that time.

Yet that's those abuses that make the game advance.
Since it's been ages since I actually played, I'll talk from aesthetics of play instead of balance. I relaly like the idea of a 2-1-0 honnestly. If it makes the interaction with the jungle more interesting (be in lane vs skirt the jungle to grab a few monsters because you're weak), and adds more people roaming, and adds more team interactions. I'm all for it!
Maybe it's too much if it becomes the strictly better solution for the loosing team. Aka if you have to take a champion who can either win lane (100%) or grab one who can off-jungle, now there might be a little problem. Other wise I like it.
That will solve nothing but for diamond+ games. In all other brackets people will still poach jungle.
I explain to them, killing chickens costs us an oracles, 20 gold and a devourer stack, they still do it. People are stupid. They will steal my jungle and blame me when they lose their lanes. Thats how it goes.
Btw in the PBE they're changing spawn times to 2:00, I think this would fix the lvl 1 poaching.
2 minute spawn times = no leash gg
hm yeah, also its harde to tell where a junglers starts, that can be either good or bad.
They just reverted all those changes on PBE, so timers are still at 1:55, as well as several Machete changes and camp changes are back to what they are on live.
but i like to farm raptors and wolves when i mid sometimes ! :[

Riot doesn't want you stealing jungle camps from junglers anyway.
Only if you also make it so that Machete users don't get XP from lane minions for the same amount of time. Fairness and all. Can't let the jungler tax his laners if the laners can't tax the jungler right back.
Stop enforcing the meta.
Stop enforcing the meta.
How in the world is this even remotely meta related?

Because it punishes teams that want to try something different. What if a team doesn't want a jungler and wants their lanes to farm the jungle at will? They would be punished by not getting experience.

The meta exists because its the most efficient way to play the game. Why in the world would you even have people not have a jungler? You would have no jungle pressure, reduced experience and way less gold overall.

It's "believed" to be the most efficient way of playing the game because Riot made it that way. All of these pre-season jungle changes just further restrict creativity and enforce the meta.
Believe it or not there are a number of very effective ways to play this game, including ways that don't include a dedicated jungler in the traditional sense. Or at least there were. The jungle changes make it much harder to have a non-traditional jungle now,

People didn't jungle until they realized that they can funnel gold into one person, have 2 solo lanes and still protect the carry bot lane. Riot decided to make the jungle easier to allow them to do that. Then they made it slightly harder, then tweaked it a bit and then made it as it is now.

They tweaked it A LOT more. And you want to tweak it further.
The Koreans figure things out all the time. And everytime they do, Riot quickly makes changes to prevent these "problems" from continuing. This isn't the game it used to be.
Yeah, letting people unwittingly hurt their team is enforcing the meta... We have smite because we have junglers, let them jungle.
I feel like the only issue with this would be top lane swaps again. If they swap lanes and its 2v1 he's not gonna get any EXP so he has to get some from camps with his jungler. Pretty common thing in LCS when it was happening, changing it would make it so swaps were stronger :O
