Is this considered fair and balanced by you RIOT?

I just played a game where there was an average team mmr gap of 136 points according to op.gg. How is it fair that not only by average mmr ratings, but by actual ranked rankings too, one team is ahead of the other?

op.gg isn't your actual MMR, it's an estimation of your MMR. Besides, do you really think Silver 5 is THAT much better than Bronze 1?

well i am b2 and was against a gold 4 so yeah there is a difference. And an estimated 100+ is still a substantial difference

+100 isn't really that big, all things considered. Not even, no, but within winnable levels.

Also, looking at these stats, he didn't ward much. Plus he's Karthus. Where was your jungler?

power farming / dieing. And 100+ is because, for comparative reasons, ranked tries to keep those numbers as close to even as they can. Normals are not as strict, but they still try. I've looked at my recent games and haven't ever had a difference that bad. usually i get around 30-40 point difference at most when in normals and those games usually end up feast or famine. So adding another 100 points of skill is extreme.
