If Zilean's Ult applies WindSpeaker's, so should Lulu's.

Lulu's Ultimate does not apply Windspeakers. This is because it isn't a hael nor a shield, but a Bonus Max HP boost, similar to Gnar Passive,Nasus /Renekton Ultimate or what happens when one uses anitem 2138 or even when someone buys a item 1011 really.

That said, for whatever reason, Riot has recently made it to where Zilean's Ultimate applies Windspeakers Blessing.

Logistically speaking, outside of Riot wanting to make an exception, there is no logistic reason it should apply it since it is a revive and not a heal or shield. In comparison, Lulu's Ultimate is way more apt to receive this treatment as although it isn't exactly a heal, it does function like one. In that light, I'd like to propose Lulu's ultimate also be made an exception just like Zilean's Ultimate.

Thoughts?'

In addition, if there is a reason it should not receive the same treatment, I'd like for (preferably a Red) give me the reasoning as to why. It doesn't strike me as something that benefits Lulu outside the support role.

"Granting their ally a large amount of bonus health" You could take that as a heal or an "HP boost". I main Lulu, and I use Windspeakers, and to be honest I've never even considered if it applies to her R. I def agree it should apply!

Revive effects are counted as Heals Spirit Visage increases GA's Revival healing So it makes sense that it should apply to Zil ult Though It's be pretty stupid if Lulu's ult got affected by healing amps it'd be pretty dumb

I do think it should apply it Windspeaker's Armor/MR buff tho

NO screw lulu isn't what I want to say. Its more like Zilean should lose the ability to have that. And not lulu to get it.

Zilean has a heal in his ult - how it works is it stops a person from dying when they hit 0 HP and instead heals them back up to whatever amount his spell says at the time. It looks like a revive, and for all intents and purposes it is, but mechanically, it's a buff that rewrites the "If champ hits 0 HP, they die" with "If champ hits 0 HP, heal them X instead." This is why it applies Windspeaker. Lulu, on the other hand, inflates your max HP, giving the illusion of healing. Whereas Zilean gives the in game illusion of revival, Lulu gives the in game illusion of healing. Mechanically, she's adding HP to a character's stats, and this is not the same function and refilling someone's HP bar. The reason this cannot apply Windspeaker is due to what's happening. She's not actually healing, so no numbers would get a boost. Besides, she can already apply Windspeaker's with her shield.

It does have a heal. Technically speaking, Zilean's ult prevents someone from dying, and then heals them for a given amount. You can actually reduce his healing amount with grievous wounds.

You can't use Zilean's ult as an argument that Lulu's ult should apply windspeaker's, because there is no mechanical similarity between them. There is a valid argument that Lulu's "Max HP" buff should be counted for the purpose of windspeaker's even though it is a buff and does not technically incorporate healing, but Zilean and his ult are completely and utterly unrelated to that argument. We would have to change the rules for Lulu. For Zilean, we just finally got around to applying the rules that already existed.
