I don't even win most ARAMs. But i at least enjoy myself. Even when we get set up versus poke as a bunch of melees. I still have a better time than when playing Summoners' Rift to any degree.
That last patch somehow just made everything worse.

Star guardian was really nice, especially when it was a new thing. Felt good to have diablo 3 style gameplay with League of legends controls.

Yea the balance is so fucky and inconsistent. Sona had a 70% win rate in ARAM for such a long time and nobody at Riot gave a shit.

The game mode has yet to be completely watered down by Metas, tournament wannabes, or streamlining.
Ive played only ARAM for a very long time now... when I do dip into Summoners Rift I dominate... too many players stagnated by metas and expected play styles they have lost all sense of REAL strategy, cunning, or adaptability.
The pro players don't lose those skills, somehow, and that is what makes them Pro.

hhaavviikk7 votesever since runes got reworked ARAM stopped being fun, triump made games significantly more snowbally and with runes removed I can't try fun stuff anymore, 20% crit chance garen, full Attack speed gnar, can't try any of that and woe is you if you don't get triump, you're hugely gimping yourself.
since the rune rework I've been having games end at 7-8 minutes way more frequently than before which is a shame

No. That happens a lot, because their matchmaking is even more broken in Aram (since champ selection is not random), and then you just gonna have 10-15 minutes of pure agony.
They failed about Aram as well, sadly, and are not gonna rework anything of course :D

My only change I'd do is reduce both Triumph heal and Dark Harvest stacks. Currently, Dark Harvest and Triumph are balanced for 15 minute laning phases and 35 minute games. Not ARAM cluster fights.

I'd have loved to play that match as the melees. We'd probably instalose first (and second) tower but once I got 2750 hp with warmogs and either visage or armor spamming it'd be gg as long as I had snowball and a team that knew how to follow up
Jaspers1 votesI like them, the challenge of it, as long as their range advantage is 'fair'. Had one ARAM not long ago, we had a Teemo but he afk'd for half the game, our only 4 remaining melee against a Ziggs, some adcs and Ornn. We held them off and at some points were doing really well, even with the disadvantage, once Teemo reconnected near the end it was basically game over for them.

You didn't explain anything. You just said you like playing a clown fiesta with random picks and all of you going on mid, instead of having a laning phase.
Do you want me to just repeat what everyone else is saying? ADCs decide the game. Jungle gets punished for giving any attention to any lane but bot UNLESS their bot is already winning, in which case they camp mid. Top is irrelevant. Games feel like you have no agency in them.

MissCha0s1 votesI myself sadly never have had too much fun with ARAM, I honestly hate saying this but I could probably count on my fingers all the actual enjoyable experiences I’ve had on it, maybe because I just rarely play except when friends want to, but I’ve been steered away from it just cause I never enjoy myself when playing ARAM, I feel like I have the worst luck with who I get and our and the enemy’s team comps, the experience has mainly just been an unenjoyable one to sadly say the least.
