Make a P2P server for people proven to be over 18.
Do it. I'll pay monthly. You can't keep ignoring the fact that you have the crappiest player base in the history of any video game, ever.

It won't solve the problem I know you are trying to fix.
Because clearly the crappy player base consists of everyone under the age of 18.
While there are assholes at all ages, there is data showing players who report a younger age at registration are more likely to receive and give reports in a higher ratio than they receive and give honors.
It suggests a correlation between age and behavior

Show me the data. It's one thing to say the data exists, it's another to prove that it does, and that it comes from a credible source.

Here ya go, bit of a read tho.

Actually a really interesting read, and their methodology is sound, but at the end they also state that the newer generation rates higher on the antisocial(more likely to be toxic) scale than the previous ones. So it's quite possible the problem isn't related to age, but rather to the group of people. So in other words, they'll remain at the same toxic levels even as they mature. I didn't have time to check the credibility of the researchers, as I have class soon, but yeah I can see how this can be used. If it is credible, which I'm pretty positive it is, then it suggests age and behaviour correlate, but it also says it might be generation and behaviour, not age.
Well the reason I used the language I did was because it is just data that suggests a correlation. Obviously, not everyone who misbehaves is a child, and not every child misbehaves, but just going off my own experiences it's hard to believe younger people don't behave worse socially in an aggregate.
And yes, as we know, correlation isn't causation, it could be another factor of the new generation, not just age in general.
However, my only point was that younger players are statistically more likely to behave in a negative manner. It just seems any time you mention that as a trend people go "well there's exceptions to the trend" as if that negates the trend overall.
