So uh, did the spotlight lie?
Yorick's spotlight said his ult auto pushes lanes only breaking away if Yorick is engaged nearby. Well I just played with a Yorick and the ult followed him around the entire time. It never split pushed shit.

If the Maiden of the Mist engages in combat while in a lane she will auto push the lane. But if you Ult and there is nothing to fight it will follow
around.
He used it when minions were around to fight and it still followed him. Maybe he cleared the wave too quickly?
That is a possibility. Since the
update is so new it might take some time to figure out all of the specifics for his Maiden of the Mist.
Did he actually drop the Maiden in a lane with minions? What isn't mentioned that is noted in the wikia is that she needs to have allied lane minions with her as well to follow the lane push. So if he dropped it randomly without any enemy targets or nearby allied minions, it will prefer to follow Yorick.
Yeah it was in minions fighting each other from what I remember. But it could have just been a few backed up portal spawns since there was a portal in that lane. Would that not count then? And if so that is some BS.
It could be that the Maiden itself didn't start using its dot on minion (might have not been in range), or that spawn from Rot might not count for combat, since it might be specifically applying to minions.
There might still be other specifics, like maybe Yorick himself has to fight a minion, but I've yet to use Maiden the way the spotlight did to splitpush, so I'm not sure.
Ah, that is some interesting information. Haven't checked his wikia page since the update. That could very well be why she never pushed lane. I just wish she was slightly tankier against turret shots mainly. Though I'm still trying to get his basics down for now and it's something I noticed while in bots practicing those things.
