This game will definitely be over for me by 15 minutes. Will my team carry my useless ass or will we be stomped together in a glorious bout of toxic interactions where we all blame each other for societies worst events, let alone this lost game. Makes me wonder why I still play sometimes.

The counterpick meta has to die. Damage needs to be toned down. Defensive stats need to matter again (but also not be overbearing). Delete keystones.

Counterpicking doesn't even matter under masters? And even there, you will find many otps who won't give a shit about "counterpicking", this ain't Dota, stop making excuses...

wtf counter picking is the entirety top lane atm, if i play darius, im 100% going against a marksman, if i take nasus, its rengar or renek top, if i play renek, welp guess im playing against jax, top lane is literally just a counterpick lane, your very far behind in the meta my friend by about 4 seasons

Yeah, you are describing theory...

In reality, it's skill > pick, MM isn't matching ppl of same lvl and lower you go, bigger differences are, majority of lanes under masters(many in masters+ as well) comes down to players skill...

Not to talk about these "counters", when there is always something to win of, this isn't Dota, picks aren't that important...

um, what are you even trying to explain, counter picking is top lane right now, even in iron, esp since the game is decided by the laning phase 9 times out of 10, league isn't dota, dota actually feels winnable, even if you were in a bad matchup, but snowballing happens so fast in league that games are usually lost by the end of the laning phase
