How Do You Recover From a Loss Streak...

I'm Silver 4 right now. I've been Silver2 the last 2 seasons, never put in/demoted to Bronze.

I was Silver 3. I got demoted earlier today.

I then proceeded to go on a 7 game loss streak.

I'm now down to 5 lp in Silver 4.

I've never been on a loss streak this bad. On op.gg it says I have a Bronze 1 MMR, I've never dipped that low.

I'm just wondering what the hell happened to put me on the worst loss streak I've seen in my life. It's not me being bad and 'going to where I belong', I've been steadily climbing and I got myself to Silver 3 from Silver 5. Now I've just fallen down so fast I'm about to be back where I started in the span of 1 night.

How do I even turn a streak like this around, I feel like I'm just going to keep losing more. All the progress I've made has been thrown away and I was doing (for the most part) really well. It's like my team does well, and then late game comes, and then people start slowly making stupid choices that end in a throw even if I'm trying to get us organized and calling out mias and pings and trying to get us to focus. Nothing I do is ever enough.

I don't want this to sound like a QQ thread but I'm just really....really...frustrated...I've been playing as well as I can and every game something happens and no matter how well we do the game always ends up lost. It took me a while to get up to Silver 3 and in 1 night it's all gone. I've never been on a loss streak this bad and I don't know how to stop it.

Depends on "why" you're losing them, honestly. You can go on a losing streak without being all that tilted or bad.

Since you play adc in low elo, some advice: Pester your allies to get you to turrets safely so you can take them. If you don't get their attention and tell them "Hey, I need to take this turret", they're gonna dick around even when you're ahead and you'll lose, which I saw in your match history. Don't play with your leads.

Just take breaks when u go on tilt, dont be stupid like me to lose 23 in a row before stopping for awhile (gold 1 98 lp down to gold 3 15 lp). or expand ur champion pool to more early game carry champs.

I had a really bad losing streak. The best thing to do would be to go into the post game, download those replays, and actually watch your play and hard critique yourself, and ONLY yourself.

lose streaks happen just as winning streaks happen.

The best way to recover from that (in my opinion) is to play some normals, playing your favorite champion for a few games and go back to ranked.

Or leave the game for 2 - 3 games playing some other game and come back then. Play a normal to get back into the game and ranked afterwards.

Take a little bit to relax and cool your head. Maybe play against some bots, get a little practice in with your favorite champion.

Stop playing for at least 24 hours then come back with a fresh mind

Every game, look at the numbers in the post game. If you get tilted or play upset then as many of suggested take a break. When a new patch goes out look at patch notes, what changed and did that change impact what you like to play. If it did try to adjust to compensate, some times this means your gonna have to shelf a main because the meta will have become unfriendly to it.

Sad %%%%%s like us keep coming back to this post tryna figure out why we losing. Reality is it's just bad luck and it'll stop whenever we get luckier.

Try to play only 3 ranked games per day and take breaks between each of them so that you have a clear mind. If you are stuck in low elo, i suggest to watch guides about wave managements and micro.

Good luck everyone !
