The drake power is too high to be random

It's no question that Ocean Drake and Infernal Drake are valued much higher than the Mountain and Cloud drakes. Cloud drakes make very little of a difference when it comes to roaming and is disabled in combat, and the turrets are so damn squishy that 10% damage per buff is really irrelevant

Either we need to nerf the power of Ocean and Infernal drakes or there needs to be a cycle.

It can be a cycle for each drake kill,

OR

It can be a dragon that changes types every certain amount of time. Every 5 minutes it switches to the next type of the cycle. The cycle doesn't change when the drake is dead.

Having predictability means that the drakes don't aid snowballing teams from RNG. Please implement something so that it changes

No.

In fact I often even skip boots if we get an early cloud dragon or two.

Drakes always offer the same thing to both teams though, which always makes them balanced despite being random.

Also: Riot's main goal with the Drakes was to force teams to adapt on the fly and change up their in-game strategy rather than doing the same thing over and over and over again.

Some drakes being weaker than others doesn't hurt this at all: it actually encourages teams to adapt on the fly and change their priorities.

I don't agree with this, having infernal drags spawn when one team is overwhelmingly winning over another puts them so far ahead you have no hope of winning

Then having them cycle just means the team that is ahead just waits for the infernal drag to cycle through. The current way they might not get an infernal.

That's not always true. I was on the losing side of a team that managed to secure two infernal drakes even while still losing.

Whatever, drags are placebo.

Infernal Drake>Ocean Drake=Mountain Drake>Cloud Drake This is my personal preference when im playing damage dealing champs with mana pools. If im playing someone like lets say katarina then this is preffered. Infernal Drake>Cloud Drake>Mountain Drake>Ocean Drake.

I suggested a slightly different cycle idea in my thread http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/1eOUckQ9-fixing-drake-rng-and-its-impact-on-games but i definitely agree that drake randomness is unhealthy for the game and can in some cases change the outcome of the game.
