I mean, a lot of champs these days have true damage and it is slowly becoming less unique. Since Camille is so bent on being this deadly precise robot, would it make more sense for her charged up Q do ignore shields instead of true damage?
Would that be broken? It would definitely make her more unique and it fits her theme better...
ZephyrDrake2 votestrue damage also works for her since you are bypassing their defenses. Having it just bypass shields is extremely situational and not really all that helpful in the grand scheme of things and will pretty much mean she will have her numbers boosted to compensate for that

Anyway, I imagine she's going to have IE almost always in her kit somewhere due to her Q being both a double auto reset and being able to crit itself. ER+IE might be used to bump the reliability of the crit. After, full tank, glass cannon (PD+2 more AD items), or AD+HP items most likely.
Her pattern is going to consist of stunning, auto Q auto auto Q and hoping someone's dead. Might use W to lead her stun, due to slow; might use to follow up as well since Q's only a ~3.5 second CD @max with 40% CDR.

True damage only ignore armor and magic resist. The shield shield still counts like hp. That why some ppl use barrier against ignite

And while Riot has said that they are ok with some champs countering others,they don't want it to be too extreme,thats for example why they removed the enemy-ap-scaling from veigars ult.
