Remove upvote/downvote from Gameplay and Balance

The problem with this system is that it gives power to the dumb and lazy, creating this hivemind of stupid that just circlejerks about the same shit.

Posts that make an actual, thoughtful argument via analysis go ignored while posts that make the same appeals to emotion based on whatever champion the OP got stomped by in their last ranked game stay at the top for days.

This isn't a forum for discussion, it's a place for people reaffirm whatever preconceived notions they have of whats OP and whats not.

And the reason for that is people can express their opinion by a single click of a button. Imagine if a group of people were having a discussion in real life and 90% of them contributed nothing beyond "yeah i agree" or "no I disagree". Would they their opinion matter? Of course not. It's a problem I have with internet discourse in general but we are actively creating people who can't think for themselves by creating such places of "discussion".

Riot, if you want to make this board (and I mean gameplay and balance specifically) a place for worthwhile debate please consider removing the upvote system as it really will do wonders to improve this board.
