I Disagree!
To all the people complaining about the new champion "Oh it's a cookie cutter champion" "Oh all it's abilities are copy pasted" "Oh no originality" "Oh it's ahri ulti, oh it's trynda ulti, oh it's ranged Ekko" Ladies please... just shut up
First of all yes, none of it's abilities are exactly ground breaking Yes it has all the things people thing for some reason are bad (dashes, crow control, % health) But does that matter? Does it not look fun to play?
First were I come from reusing old stuff to make something new is considered a very good thing Even with all the abilities being based of others, They play in a completely different way Plus I'm happy riot is coming out of their experimenting teen years, where every ability had to be a completely new and weird thing, those were not good times...
The passive alone has mind game potential Enemy top is pushing? mark them, they will poop their pants thinking you're coming for them and back off
The Q, god dang it people, why is this bad? why is ONE very limited mobility spell bad?
mobility is fun, mobility gives the possibility of out moving your opponent
Granted it shouldn't be incredibly long range and spammable (which it isn't)
You know who is an offender of incredibly long range no limits mobility?
but kindred? has a short range, long cooldown dash, how is that a reason to rage?
The W is just fine and fun within the theme
The E, again why is this bad? Is it the 3 hit proc? that is a good and tested design decision, it allows for counterplay, it let's the enemy have time to do something (unlike most assassin abilities) is it the % health? again why is this bad? it's not like it takes any large amount of health unless you're a tank, and even then, it's only 5% and it doesn't even scale in the %, just the flat damage
The R, this is what an ability with counterplay should be Everyone can be blessed or doomed by this, EVERYONE, not just the allies, not just the enemies It's a different version of bard, it is a great skill required ulti and it will be awesome to see people turn the tables on a match using it
And now why I think this is a very unique champion 1- Scalling AD, we have no other champion with this ability 2- Ranged ADC jungle, I am all in favor of breaking the lane meta and think this is the way to do it 3- Theme, all it's abilities work together for synergy AND it all greatly fits the theme of the champion 4- Visuals, no other champion has such a unique silhouette or way of moving in team 5- the true tag team, unlike Quinn (whom I adore), Kindred is a true team champion, both in voice and in Kit 6- Mind games, the passive is brilliant to play mind games with the enemy and the wolf side allows for some counter play, since the enemy knows where Kindred is going
Anyway, those are my 2 cents on the champ Very interested in trying them And all you haters for the sake of hating can go suck it!
