One thing I noticed helped allot to get in the mood for "Burning Tides" Was the ambient music present on the site
Why does "Shadow and Fortune" not have this? I've been reading it while listening to the 2014 Harrowing login
But I would have liked that this had the same treatment with a specific song to help with entering the "magic circle" of the story
Any particular reason why this wasn't done? Besides the fact that "The Harrowing" isn't worthy of resources anymore?
Because Gangplank is the boss.
No other champion comes close to how cool he is.
Therefor, no other story arc gets a cool background music.
I wish they'd have included ambient music in the background to help set the mood, but presumably the sound team didn't have a quick enough turn-around time after Burning Tides to get one done. I've compensated for this by playing "A Tiny Symphony of Evil" every time I read a new entry :P
I think they really really rushed this harrowing text lore story out to the public. So essentially, one background image, no music.
The new lore for the individual champs are well fleshed out and thoughtful though.
