Champion.gg - Aatrox Top Stats, Builds, Runes, Masteries and Counters

It's not just that his winrate is around 44% (holy fuck), the issue is that even on-trick Aatrox players have under 54% winrate. Thats not cool man.

Aatrox is becoming the new Ryze all because of his ult. Fine, his ult is busted and super strong in competitive... can we change it?

I'm hoping Riot is willing to really change around his ult. I mean he's a fighter, he needs an ult that will help him in fights rather than skulking around for 2 and a half minutes until it is up again.

IM GOING TO EDIT THIS with an Idea I've had cooking. Maybe it will be cool, maybe not.

I have played Aatrox before and I kinda like his ult except by the only fact that if you don't die while having on. You don't get any hp back that's rather really annoying because youre out basically telling the player they have do to die for this to work.

The most annoying thing also if that off his ult doesn't give any hp back when the duration is over, and I can assure you that I have died like 0.1 secs after my ult ended just because I didn't die while using it.

They should buff his Ult where if the duration finishes and Aatrox didn't die it should give him back half of the hp from his Blood Well, short example would be Aatrox doesn't die and his blood well is filled up to 80% that should give him 40% hp back, but because he didn't die it should return him 20% back from it

The R honestly isn't the issue. Its the fact they think his E with items like Spirit Visage and Death's Dance will just sustain him forever in fights, when the payout on that healing is far from that. Its how much he deals after resists, which in late game a AD will have at least close to 80 armor.

The heal needs some work...or they could simply do this:

Up passive's cd early, but make it scale down by ~5 seconds per rank of R (Meaning from static 25, to 28 / 23 / 18 ~. Just some scaling cooldown that would benefit his late game passive without breaking it entirely)

Change W to a new ability that does damage and isn't a setup ability for Q. The issue with Aatrox is the fact that besides his passive and Q, he lacks damage everywhere else. By adding a damage ability that isn't some basic set up ability that does little damage, his e passive healing would work much better with the items he builds.
