Zed and his poke

Should zed really be able to poke you down how he does currently? Right now whenever I fight Zed he just pokes me to no end spamming his Q and sometimes weq or whatever his shadow combo is, and then he just w or flash ults me and ignites me and I'm just dead. I can't poke him down since he will probably start with a long sword and 3 potions and most mages can't stand to poke people down super hard early or they will just run oom.

It's so frustrating how he can poke me away from my own farm while he gets to push and farm with ease with his passive. Slowly wearing me down until he can just ult me. This is why I hate fighting zed so much. And I really hate it when people say "Just buy or ". A champions only counterability shouldn't only come from items. It should come from gameplay.

Zed has a poke tool? Just like every other assassin in the game except Fizz

His poke is relatively better than just about every other assassin, and the fact he can do it without having to get near you is good too.

Well, don't get hit by his Q. I know this is obvious, but I destroyed him with kassadin just by avoiding his Q. If he isn't fed he can't 100-0 you

Honestly, the best way to deal with Zed is to 'push' back, at least that's what I have found works for me. QSS and Zhonya's are the best way to deal with him, however, the best solution is to learn how to move around where his Q is or is going to be coming from, yes it's easier said than done, and I have trouble with it as well, but it's the best way to deal with Zed, other than that.. get someone like Annie and sit under your tower and last hit so if he tries to all in you, you can stun his ass and blow him up so worst case you go 1 for 1.

Zed is only strong early game so he should be able to be good in early stages. Right now he is one of the most counter able champions and his ult is pretty useless when adc will just rush qss 2nd item and mages hourglass first. If you start cloth 5 in the early stages of the game he will have a much harder time forcing you out of lane than the usual Dorians or flask start.

He also has gameplay weaknesses. His q is a skillshot, he is melee, he has to trade his savety ( w) to poke with long range. Also I personally really dont have a problem with zeds laning, its pretty obvious when you fucked up against him and deserve to die. He is pretty much one of the champions with the most counterplay in his kit and still people here find excuses to cry about him. He is fine.
