"Have been" is a very nice way of putting "team comps were designed around specific picks and they are not always, or very rarely, picked this way".

That was a terrible sentence, but from what i can glean from it is this.

People are stating that it is good that fervor will only be ideal on marksman instead of both fighters and marksman.

Well, the are probably very biased but some fighters that have abused the free stats and built tank Yasuo Ekko (but as a tanky skirmisher). I disagree with them overall though.

I count Corki as a mage. The only things that point to him not being a mage are his AD scalings (which don't really matter as much as the kits do), and his passive, which is an AA modifier (Lux, Kennen, Azir, Diana, Rumble, and more mages also have AA use in their kits). He deals about 80% of his total damage as magic damage, is heavily reliant on moderate-long range spells and CDR, and can be run in the mid lane.
