It can be with Unsealed Spellbook. You still lose the ability to buy the smite item, but... not sure how to go about that one.

It would take Riot years to figure that one out plis lets drop this and just remember to bring it :'D We need more important updates

It's maybe one of the least fun feelings in League and there's no good way around it. My advice when that happens is to start near the bot lane and get a hard leash.

This is asking for laners to abuse Smite again because of the gold efficiency of jungle items. Cinderhulk top laners. Spellvamp Vladimir. Ezreal with many of the jungling items over the years.

It shouldn't and won't happen. You have a lot of time to prepare yourself before each game begins. You need to take advantage of that time and make sure your runes and summoner spell are chosen appropriately for your champion and role.
