I'm quite worried that I'll get demoted quickly because I don't think I play as good as a Silver. I started this season at Bronze 3 and it was actually quite hard to get into Bronze 2 for me. But then I went on a crazy win streak, but that's not the point. In season 5, I was Silver 3, but I was so useless and was lucky that I didn't get demoted down to Bronze 5. Any tips on how to still perform well after joining a whole new league?

Actually this is not true. There is a huge difference between Bronze and Silver. I played regularly in both low Bronze and mid Silver in Season 6 and I'm telling you difference in skill is huge. You put me in an all Bronze 5 team late in the season when all the Silvers have climbed back out and I can go legendary every game on my mains. Put me in a Silver game and suddenly, I'm just a regular dude, not a god.

there's a big difference between bronze and silver.
but there's no one particular recipie for "you're in silver, so play (this way)". Just keep improving.
or, if you like keeping your rank... just dont play ranked again for a year, and get the nice silver border at end of season. there's no rank decay for silver.

If you start playing with golds, I guess you can consider you've joined a new league.
Within Bronze - Plat, it is mostly about fundamentals.

The only trick I abuse when smurfing in Bronze - Plat, is that I contest almost every CS the enemy goes for.
Kilanost1 votesThe biggest difference is you'll see SLIGHTLY less feeders. And people are SLIGHTLY better at basic shit like csing. Biggest advice is to not psych yourself out like you seem to be doing. You're going to give yourself the yips. You need confidence to play well.
