Watch a lot of Youtube videos and prepare to spend time in the pratice tool utilizing her combos. The difference between a good Riven and a great Riven is night and day.

Besides the fast combo, learn 2 or 3 other combos, one that good for trading, one that good for executing and one that good for all-in (for trading (in and out) I vaguely rember e -> aa -> W -> Q was good)

Practice them in the practice tool (if you do it correctly it taking much much less time) in games just keep spamming those 3 tricks you have just learned till it cemented in your muscle memory, then search for a new combo type you think you may need and repeat.

Why only 3 games? But as far as tips go I have a couple: 1:what abilities do Q: you have 3 of them, the 3rd you can use to hop over walls, do cc, and just a lot of shit tbh. Also the fast combo just look it up my dude W: this ability stun locks you, mean if that when you use it your rooted for about a half second E: Shields and more mobility R1: you activate your sword BUT it also roots you, R2: a wind-slash

2: cc cancels If you push q3 RIGHT after you w you won’t be put into a locked animation an your stun is transferred to where you land, BUT you don’t want to do this unless you have too because u miss an opportunity to CC chain. A cc chain is basically where you have a cced enemy, and before the cc runs out you cc again, riven has 2 cces and if you W Q3, you use all of your cc at once which is about 2 seconds, if you w, then auto Tiamat, then q3, then auto while there knocked up that’s about 4 seconds of doing fuck tons of damage, but in certain situations, a W Q3 R2 is the best option to one shot someone. Also you can cancel the root on your R1 if you E and r at the same time.

3: flash + riven =outplays Here’s a coupe of things you can do with flash

Flash to dodge an ability then Q3 auto (which is just to get you out of a high pressure one v one situation)

Flash R2 this makes your r2 go farther BUT you have to flash into who your trying to kill which is risky

One shot combo (without Tiamat) E(with r1) flash W q auto q auto q auto q r2
